| 2 | VERMICULITE FIRE PROOFING: Supply and laying of vermiculite cementitious concrete coating as fire proofing material (FENDOLITE or approved equivalent brand) around structural steel members (viz beams, columns, bracings etc.) including carrying out the design for the coating thickness and getting the same reviewed by the owner, complete with supply and welding of MS nuts /anchors/ studs and fixing with epoxy adhesive, cleaning the steel surfaces, applying primer and paint compatible with the already applied primer/ paint; to the nuts and affected surfaces of the members due to welding/ corrosion etc.; supplying, placing and fixing in position welded wire fabric reinforcement 3mm dia 50 x 50mm mesh conforming to IS:1566 and tying the reinforcement to the nuts with 16SWG tying wire, including straightening, cleaning, cutting, bending, applying the self primer paint after cleaning of steel members, vibrating, tamping, curing or providing a layer of approved membrane of curing compound, rendering wherever required to achieve a smooth and even surface, providing chamfering at corners, supplying and laying of 10mm thick bituminous mastic flashing conforming to IS:3037 for protection of top edges; painting the surfaces with 2 or more coats of microporous exterior top coat, including the cost of all labour, materials, shuttering, , staging scaffolding for all shapes and positions at all heights above pavement etc. all complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. (All materials including scaffolding shall be supplied by the contractor). |
| 3 | Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge: |
| 4 | Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix). |
| 5 | Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. |
| 6 | Extra for cutting reinforcement bars manually/ by mechanical means in R.C.C. or R.B. work (Payment shall be made on the cross sectional area of R.C.C. or R.B. work) as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. |
| 7 | Shotcreting R.C.C. columns, beams and slabs etc. in layers with approved design mix concrete having the specified minimum characteristic compressive strength [with ordinary portland cement, coarse sand and graded stone aggregate of 10mm maximum size in proportion as per design criteria] including the cost of centering and shuttering at edges and corners etc. as directed by Engineer-in-Charge: Note: Rates shall include the providing necessary ground wires etc. the levelling gauges, if used, shall be paid for separately. Payment under this item shall be made only after proper wet curing has been done and surface has been satisfactorily evaluated by sounding/ tapping with a blunt metal instrument. |
| 8 | 25 mm thick in Grade M25 with cement content not less than 330 kg per cum. |
| 9 | 50 mm thick in Grade M25 with cement content not less than 330 kg per cum. |
| 10 | 75 mm thick in Grade M25 with cement content not less than 330 kg per cum. |
| 11 | Add for using extra cement in the items of design mix over and above the specified cement content therein. |
| 12 | HARD DRAWN WIRE FABRIC REINFORCEMENT: Supplying and placing in position hard drawn wire fabric of 3mm dia 50x50 Mesh @ 2.22 kg/Sqm as per IS: 1566 to be used as reinforcement for fire proofing, including straightening, cleaning, cutting, bending, binding different portions with Contractor's own 16 SWG black soft annealed wire, welding with spacer plates or lugs (to be supplied by the Contractor at his own cost) in skirts/ on surface of structural steel members etc. complete, including cleaning of the surface and all labour and as per drawings/ sketches, specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 13 | Removing dry or oil bound distemper, water proofing cement paint and the like by scrapping, sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete. |
| 14 | Finishing walls with Premium Acrylic Smooth exterior paint with Silicone additives of required shade - New work (Two or more coats applied @ 1.43 ltr/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/ 10 sqm). |
| 15 | Lettering with black Japan paint of approved brand and manufacture. Note: Rate EACH (EA) stands for \\"Per letter per cm height\\". |
