3	Earth work in bulk excavation by mechanical means (hydraulic excavator) over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 m2 on plan) including disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 meters and lift upto 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.All kinds of soil :
4	Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth upto 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish upto a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared.
5	Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m.
6	Providing and laying of GSB using nallah material for filling , including dressing of surface to required levels and grades. The work includes collection, carriage, and stacking of Nallah GSB from approved sources, spreading in layers not exceeding 225 mm in loose thickness, watering, and compacting with vibratory roller or any suitable means to achieve required compaction and level. The finished surface shall be firm and properly set for further construction activities. The rate includes mechanical lead upto 15km and head load upto 50mtrs. complete work in all respects as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
