Reconditioning work of old CI Acid troughWork involves: Make necessary site arrangements for the work. Break the grouting around the CI spary tubes and remove all the acid spray tubes safely from old IAT acid trough/channel.There are 7 no. of trough of different sizes, which consist of around 500 nos. of spray tubes (straight and bend types). After removing all the spray tubes, clean the acid trough.All the projections,debris etc.on spray tube openings and flange faces shall be levelled by proper grinding.All spray tube holes shall be checked by inserting spare tubes/nozzles through the holes. Any corrections/further grinding if required shall be done. After completion of work the acid troughs shall be transported to SA plant area as per site instructions. The removed spray tubes/nozzles shall be shifted to earmaked area as per instruction from engineer in charge.
