| 6 | Material and labour for, Tripod Earthing 50 mm dia - 3 numbers of Chemical earthing (maintenance free) corrosion resistant earth electrode copper cladded, copper coating thickness of 250 microns,high tensile low carbon COPPER BONDED ROD ELECTRODES WITH 99.9% with 25KA current discharge test as CPRI, of length 3.0m as per UL 467, with suitable compressive coupler planted at depth not less than 3.0m of bore 100mm below gorund level and duly covered with low resistant superior conductive powdered non corrosive, highly hydrous earth enhancing material, including connecting upto common bus bar grid of size 25 x 3 mm to achieve optimum low earth resistance on inspection/ testing complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 7 | Notefor Item No. 4 :-(a) The make shall be of manufactures as listed in particuler specification here-in-after.(b) The earthing shall comply to IS-3043 and the earth resistance shall be less than 1 ohm(c) The electrode shall carry UL marking and manufacturer\"s name(d) The quoted rate shall also deemed to be included the following:-(i) Survey of earth resistance if required for testing of the earth in presence of departmentrepresentative.(ii)The electordes shall be interconnected through 25 mm x 3 mm copper strip as required and Grid point/ testing point shall be connected with 25 x 3mm copper strip mounted on porcelain insulators and enclosed in suitable enclosure of mild steel 2mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer.(iii)The carbon based earth enhancement compound shall have very minimum resistance value (normally less than 0.12 Ohm) to keep the earth resistance at the lower level. The back fill compound shall be filled with highly conductive and eco friendly ground enhancing compound as per IEC 62561-7 shall not be less that 90KG per pit.(iv)Testing of earth shall be carried out alongwith the departmental representive and report shall be submitted.(v) Earthwork such as auguring and making good the surrounding area shall carried out in any type of soil. The bore hole shall be not less than 80mm dia and 3.0m deep from ground level.(vii)Earth termination clamps shall be provided to facilitate connection to equipment. |
