| 5 | M&L for applying cold bituminous primer @ 0.4 Ltr / Sqm conforming to IS 3384 and laying APP polymer modified membrane 3mm thick 3.0 Kg/Sqm in weight with non-woven polyster reinforcement with plain finish, each strip shall overlap the preceding one by at least 10 cm at the longitudinal edges and 15 cm at the ends. All over laps shall be firmly bonded with bitumen primer and levelled by heating the overlaps with butane torch as per manufacture instructions complete all as specified and directed. |
| 6 | Note:-(a) Rate quoted deemed to be inclusive of cleaning of surface to be treated properly to receve the primer. |
| 7 | (b)Contractor shall submit necessary guarantee certificate from the manufacturer for the material,ensuring its efficacy for 10 years from the date of completion of work. |
| 8 | (c) APP membrane treatment shall be done firstly at corners and junction of parapet wall 30cm on verticle position and 30cm on horizontal position shall be done with proper attention and work carried out by authorised applicator only.Main portion of roof treatment shall be commenced only on completion of corners/edges/junctions. |
| 9 | (d) APP membrane shall be taken upto outside of the parapet wall to an extent of 150mm minimum. |
| 10 | (e) Ensure while laying the treatment no bulging on surface/voids shall be found and proper care/attention be given for the treatment. |
| 11 | (f) If any work executed at site without any authorised applicator, the same shall be rejected and no payment shall be consider. |
| 12 | (g) Contractor shall produce the certificate from the manufacturer for the authorised applicator before commencement of work. |
| 13 | M&L for cleaning top surface of cement concretelime terracing or tiles by Wire brushing and flashings and junction of parapets, etc., and surface painting, with two coat of Aluminium paint incl preparation of surface complete all as specified and directed. |

| 38 | Note for all items :- If any item gets repeated in this schedule, the lowest rate quoted for those same items by the L-1 bidder shall be considered for payment and decision of Accepting Officer i.e. GE(AF) Baroda in this regard shall be final and binding. |
