If found any leakage or reduction in the scale of pressureshall located and arrest the leakage immediately by soldering or an appropriate measure are to be taken to top the leakage permanentlycomplete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge. |
| 7 | Servicing & cleaningofthe cooling tower of capacity up to 170 TR by applying wire brush, washing powder and other solvent by removing the deposited impurities such as silt, dust particles mud/ sand inside the dume and around the fins, cleaning of base tray & grills, pot stainer, main shaft etc. and other connected items, servicing of fan motor including changing of bearingsand greasing refixing the fan, frill & top cover including painting of cooling tower with approved colour by scrapping outer sludges/paintcomplete all as directed by Engr-in-charge all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 8 | Material and labour for descaling of complete condenser units Quarterly for central/ package type AC plants of following capacities by means of adding descaling chemical solution (HCL) or equivalent into the cooling tower sump as per requirements, and running the plant pump continuously till all the scale of pipes/shell are removed including removing side covers of condenser and cleaning the water tubes by means of nylon brushes till the scaling is removed and re fixing of covers including replacement of neoprenerubber gasket and refixing pipe connection etc. all as specified and directed to complete satisfaction of engineer-in-charge.(a)Central AC Plant up to 170 TRNote : Qty of descalling will be measured in each quarter at interval of not less than 90 days |
| 9 | M & L for repairs of motorised fire/smoke dampers, supply/return air damper including replacement of controller for operation of motorised fire damper and control wiring, the damper shall be motorized and spring return so as to close the damper in the event of power failure automatically and open the same in case of power being restored. The spring return action shall be inbuilt mechanism and not externally mounted. The damper shall also be closed in the event of fire signal complete as required. |
