| 8 | Curing Compound :- M&L for applying high efficiency water based film forming curing compound over the fresh concrete cementious surface to form a continuous non-penetraling coating providing a barrier to moislure loss ensuring more effcient cement trydration improved durability and reduced shrinkage. Teh compound shall be applied by sprayer only as per manufacturer\"s instuctions to ensure complete and proper coverage, pump pressure should be maintained to give an even fine spray and finish as per the manufacturer\"s specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |

| 10 | (vi) Contractor shall furnish a written guarantee for structural repairs carried out under above serial items of BOQ for a period of five years. An amount to the tune of 5% of total amount quoted against ser item Nos 1.00 to 8.00 or Rs. 50,000.00 whichever is less shall be held back from contractor\"s payment as security deposit against the guarantee period of 5 years from certified date of completion.Alternatively, the contractor may give interest bearing deposit in favour of GE (North) Udhampur for five year for the sum mentioned here-in-before which shall be refunded back after satisfactory completion of five year from date of completion. |
