| 9 | M&L for waterproofing treatment by applying oil bound bitumen primer having density 0.87–0.89 kg/litre at the rate of 0.40 litre/sqm, providing and laying 3 mm thick APP modified waterproofing membrane weighing not less than 3 kg/sqm of approved make, including minimum 10 cm side lap and 15 cm end lap, laid and pasted with blue flame torching application, and finally finishing with solar reflective bituminous aluminium paint @ 0.1 kg/sqm, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 10 | M&L for the following:(i) Cleaning the surface free of dirt, dust, laitance etc. using wire brush, grinding machine and water jet machine and allowing the surface to dry. Opening the cracks, if any, in V/U shape using electrically operated cutting machine. Cleaning the surface thoroughly from dust and loose particles using wire brush and air blower and treating with crack filler.(ii) After proper cleaning, opening the debonded surface at the terrace area and removing the same completely; cleaning the surface; applying one coat of bonding agent of Home Shield Advance Latex Plus or equivalent (direct material) and allowing it to dry for 30 minutes; and filling the area with cement, sand, water and Advance Latex Plus completely to achieve proper bonding with old surface and to ensure flow of water to the outlets.(iii) Supplying and applying Berger Paints Home Shield Super Latex Plus or equivalent as bond coat over the cleaned surface, and allowing it to dry for 2–3 hours for proper penetration of the material and sealing maximum porosity inside the concrete slab.(iv) Supplying and applying water-based Elastomeric PU membrane having good crack bridging and waterproofing property over the concrete surface (Berger PU Roofkoat) in 2 coats (one coat in vertical direction and one coat in horizontal direction) to provide better waterproofing to the existing terrace surface and parapet wall and to ensure better bonding for longer period, complete all as per manufacturer’s instructions and as directed. |
| 11 | Supply only integral waterproofing compound, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 12 | Taking down cement plaster on brick or concrete surfaces of walls/ceiling and the like, including racking out joints, hacking for keys, scrubbing down with water etc., of any description, including removal of rubbish outside MoD land, complete all as specified and directed.Note: The rate quoted shall be deemed to include necessary scaffolding and formwork. |
| 13 | Finishing walls with acrylic smooth exterior paint of required shades: New work (two coats @ 1.67 litre/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/10 sqm on new plastered surfaces), complete all as specified and directed. |
