| 34 | IMPORTANT NOTES FOR ITEM NOS 1 TO 16 :1) Design / Drawing / BOM / Make / Technical specifications etc. of the Items / Job of the complete Fire Alarm & Detection System showing the layout & other details etc. is to be obtained from OEM / Auth Channel Partner / Supplier & is to be got approved from Engr-in-charge & GE before placing final order. Techno-Commercial Comparative Analysis is also required to be submitted to Engr-In-Charge & GE whereever equivalency w.r.t. a given Make/Model/Cat-Part Ref is concerned.2) The complete Supply, Installation, Commissioning & Testing of the Items / Job of the Fire Alarm & Detection System incl the Comprehensive AMC for 2 Years from the Certified date of Completion is to be got done from the OEM or their Auth Distributor/Channel Partners only & Submission of Reports duly signed by all concerned including the User Concerned to Engr-In-Charge & GE in duplicate. The Contr / Firm needs to submit MoU with OEM in this regard duly signed by all concerned along with necessary docs / drawings / design etc. as applicable complete all as specified & as directed & to the entire satisfaction of the Engr-In-Charge.3) Any item/work etc. missed out in the technical specifications but technically required for efficient working of the Fire Alarm & Detection System is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates.4) Contr/Firm is required to visit the site of work for any doubts/clarifications w.r.t. specifications / qty etc. before quoting of the Tender. Any query/clarifications etc. after conclusion of the Contract shall NOT be entertained & decision of the AO shall be final & binding.5) Cost of taking down old / unsv / obsolete items / spares etc. incl transportation of the same to the MES Storeyard is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates.6) Cost of use / hiring / rent including transportation of Aluminum Ladders / Scaffolding arrangements etc. required for successful execution of the complete work / Job is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates. Quoted rate is also deemed to be inclusive of all safety precautions / measures to be taken by the Contractor for labour / tradesmen employed at the site. 7) Purchase Vouchers / Test Certificates / Guarantee & Warantee Certificates is to be submitted in Original to the Engr-In-Charge for checking / records.8) The Contr / Firm shall attend any major system fault / breakdown within 24 Hrs & minor faults within 48 hours of intimation by any means incl electronic mode & restore the system at the earliest without any additional cost to the Dept during the AMC Period. In the event of non-attendance / non-rectification of the faults / breakdown within the stipulated 24 / 48 Hrs, Penalty @ Rs. 2500/- per day shall be recovered & the decision of the AO shall be final & binding in this regard.9) All the Repair / Maint / Servicing / Cleaning / AMC etc. activities within the scope of this Tender / Contract is to be carried out in the presence of User Rep & MES Rep & accordingly Reports generated duly signed by all concerned incl the User Rep. |
