| 1 | Comprehensive maintenance and repair including renewal/replacement of defective parts/devices of UL listed/ certified microprocessor based Fire Detection and Alarm system installed in the New Building Complex at Cabinet Sectt through M/S Notifier(OEM) or authorized dealer of OEM (as per MOU) round the clock including Saturday, Sunday & Holidays by deployingoftrained and qualified technician to attend breakdown and routine servicing of equipments as mentioned as under. The rate for providing trained technician will inclusive in quoted rate no extra will admissible in this regards. Details of Equipment & devices to be operated is as under: - (i)Fire Alarm Control panels (Model : NFS2-640, Make- Notifier), 2 loop, 159 device in each loop - 15 Nos(ii)Fire Alarm repeater panels (Make- Notifier)- 02 Nos(iii) PA system with Telephone (DAA-50 series, output power 50W) - 15 Nos(iv) Telephone unit - 28 Nos(v) smoke detector ( make- notifier) -3195 Nos(vi)Heat detectors (Make- Notifier) -104 Nos(vii)Control Modules (Model : FCM-01, Make- Notifier) - 250 Nos(viii)Manual call point - 116 Nos (ix)Response Indicators (Make- Notifier) - 1634 Nos(x) Monitor Modules (Model : FMM-01, Make- Notifier) - 57 Nos(xi)Sounder - 211 Nos(xii) Relay Module (Model : FRM-01, Make- Notifier) - 124 Nos(xiii) Beam detector - 10 Nos(xiv) Battery, 12 Volt, 7 AH - 30 Nos(xv) All connecting/control wiring for above devices (In all 29 Loops)(xvi)All those items related with Fire detection & Alarm system installed at site but not specified in the above list are alsoincluded in the comprehensive maintenance. |
| 2 | NOTES FOR ITEM NO 1: -(i) Thespares and labour for any Major & minorrepairs/replacementof fire alarm control panels, repeater panels, smoke detectors, heat detectors, beam detectors, manual call points, sounders, network card, any type of modules (control module, relay module and monitor module), fire fighter\"s telephone handset and jacks, PA system, connecting wires control wires, conduits as and when required shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost to department and rates for the same shall deemed to be included in thequoted unit rate. Only new parts shall be incorporated in the work and repaired parts shall not be reused in the work. (ii) Unserviceable devices mentioned in item no 01 (iv to xii) will be replacedand in addition battery and beam detector and fire curtainsshall be replaced as per site requirement. Cost of new devices is deemed to be included in quoted rate.(iii) Old/unserviceable parts shall be property of Contractor.However, these shallnot be reused in work and deposited in MES Store Yard at the time of replacement.The unserviceable parts shall be returned to contractor after sucessful completion of work. |
| 3 | NOTES FOR ITEM NO 1 (Contd...): - (iv) The Comprehensive maintenance shall be done by trained technician of OEM/authorized dealer of OEM only.(v) All material to be purchased directly from Authorized Distributor only and the same shall be inspected by technician in the presence of Engineer-in-charge before installation. (vi)The cost of Re-Progamming / formatting / Data Entryof Fire alarmcontrol Panel shall deemed tobe included in the quoted unit rate.(vii) The contractor will maintain complaint slip for each complaints and maintain a complaint register, after rectification of fault/complaint on complaint slip duly signed by JE/MES rep .(viii) All complaints/breakdown shall be attended/rectified by the Contractor within 08 Hours, failing which a recovery of Rs 1500/- per complaint per day shall be made from contractor\"s dues subject to a maximum of 10 days.(ix) In case of any break down/inspection, any additional manpower required shall be arranged by the contractor without any extra cost to the Govt.(x) The staff deployed for comprehensive maintenance of the installations shall not leave the fire detection and alarm system room under any circumstances. (xi) The contractor shall provide all the necessary T&P and stationery such as Periodical Maintenance Register, logbook etc to the Dept without any extra cost .(xii) The regular and periodical cleaning/ routine checking/ testing and adjusting the detectors shall be carried out by the Contractor in planned and systematic manner for efficient and smooth functioning of system. |
| 4 | NOTES FOR ITEM NO 1 (Contd...): - (xiii) All regular/ periodic inspection, testing and commissioning including preventive maintenance shall be carried out by the Contractor as per IS 2189 : 2008 with latest amendments and as recommended by the manufacturers. (xiv) Repair/ Servicing /Replacing of the equipments/ devices & other items related with fire alarm system shall be carried out by the staff deployed by the contractor at without any extra cost to deptt. (xv) The service Engineer shall visit the site 3 to 4 times in contract period for inspection and shall submit inspection report to the Engineer-in-charge monthly. Necessary repair action shall be taken immediately if/as required.(xvi) The contractor shall visit site and inspect complete Fire detection & Alarm system alongwith PA system including all connected devices before quoting the tender. No representation/claim will be accepted againstFire detection & Alarm system alongwith PA system including all connected devices during execution of work at site.(xvii) MOU between OEM (M/S Notifier OEM or authorized dealer)and the contractor will be obtained and contractor should submit the agreement with OEM at the time of commencement of the work at site to GE. (xviii) Specification of spares parts shall be all as per existing make and model. (xix) Cost offixing, testing, commisioning of any particular item (if required) shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost to department. |
| 5 | NOTES FOR ITEM NO 1 (Contd...): -(xix) All consumable items, such asfuses, resistance, cleaning material, battery acid, distilled water, battery thimbles clamp, grease, copper conductor PVC insulated Fire alarm cable of required size, thimbles & ferrules of all sizes, PVC insulation tape,nuts bolts, screws, etc. shall be provided by contractor at no extra cost to Deptt.(xx)Regular Maintenance of the system: The contractor must maintain the system as per the maintenance activities mentioned below and responsible for 100% functional of the fire detection and alarm system including the PA system supporting the fire alarm system.(xxi)Any fault warning recorded under system, the technician should record in the logbook and shall intimate to concern Engineer in Charge as well as contractor and contractor shall ensure thatfault is attended within reasonable time as directed by EIC otherwise a sum of Rs. 500/- per hour shall be deducted from the contractor dues on account ofdelay in rectification of fault. (xxii) Contractor shall be solely responsible to keep the system serviceable at all times.(xxiii)The contractor shall be responsible for handing over the complete Fire detection & Alarm system alongwith all devices/accessories/control wiring harness in serviceable condition in the time of completion of works duly inspected by OEM and Engr-in Charge jointly and inspection report of serviceabilty state of Fire detection & Alarm system alongwith PA system to be submitted alongwith final bill duly signed by GE. |
| 6 | Removing of existing serviceable fire alarm dectectors and refixing of same on false ceiling without disturbing walls/connections cables and other accessories if required cost including in quoted rate complete all as specified and directed. |
