The membrane should not be taken over at any steep turns and hence all corners/timers should be rounded and including M&L for cutting of grooves at wall all around 65mm deep 10mm wide for APP membrane to be laid in gap as required on site as directed by Engineer In Charge. |

| 48 | M&L for treatment of roof with reinforced elastomeric liquid waterproofing membrane of 400-micron thickness in four layer(100micron each layer) having SRI of 130, tested as per ASTM E 1980 (with Solar Reflectance and Thermal emittance tested as per ASTM C 1549 and ASTM C 1371 , respectively). The coating should have water absorption less than 1% as per IS: 101 (P-7/Sec-1) 1989, with the ability to resist heat upto 120 00 as per IS: 101 (P-7/Sec-3) 1990 having VOC less than f g/ltr as per ASTM D 3960 and should have excellent resistance to transmission of ponded water up to 2.5 bars of pressure for 7days. It should also be resistant to Ammonia solution, Sodium nitrate, Sodium hydroxide, along WIth water and soap solution as per IS: 101 (P-7/Sec-2)1990. The waterproofing membrane will be laminated with 25 - 40-micron thick transparent Nano modified composite crosslinking polymeric coating with a minimum of 40% solid content as per IS: 101 (P -8/Sec6)1993 and also should pass Impact test as per IS: 101 (P-5/Sec-3) 1988 along with having dust and water repellent & anti-graffiti property passing Scratch hardness test of 500g as per IS: 101 (P-5/Sec-2) 1988. It should also pass Cross Cut Adhesion test as per IS: 101 (P-5/Sec-2) 1988. The Polymeric coating should have a self-cleaning and easy-to-clean property with excellent weather stability and DPR (Dirt pickup ratio). Surface preparation includes cleaning the surface with wire brush and washing cleaning to remove all dust, fungus, etc.The work will be done under the supervision of the Engineer-in-charge.The coating thickness and the methodology of application shall strictly be carried out by the authorised vender/ manufacturers with all specifications and as approved by the Engineer-incharge. The manufacturer shall give a warranty for the peformance& durability for 7years. |

| 50 | Treatement for sunken portion is as follows :-(i) Demolition of lean concrete and other type of filling in sunken portion & cleaned the sunken portion incl vertical wall surface complete as directed.(ii) M&L for providing 12 mm dia holes of 40mm deep @200mm c/c at junction of beams and columns as co-ordinal points for inserting/pouring cement slurry by pressure grouting for sunken floors of toilet , includind sealing the holes with CM 1:3, all as specified and as directed by EIC.(iii) M&L for water proofing plaster for sunken portionin CM 1:3, 20 mm thick in two coats with water proofing compound at the rate of 2% by weight of cement and finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement.(WPC will be measured and paid seperately).(iv) M&L for applyin evenlytwo coats of industrial bitumen 85/25 at the rate of 1.20 Kg/Sqm in each coat over vertical surfaces and floors of sunken floors of toilet including cleaning of surfaces.(v) M&L for PCC 1:7:12 type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in filling (sunken portion). etc.(vi) M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B0 using 12.50 mm graded stone aggregate, mixed with incl WPC @ 2% by wt. of cement, as sub base, 75mm thick. (vii) M&L for plastering in CM 1:4, 15 mm thickwith incl water proofing compound at the rate of 2% by weight of cement and finishing the surface seven and fair. |
