Supplying at site hot-dipped galvanized steel members for tower to fix the same wherever found missing or replace any damaged / bent tower members all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (The materials to be used for tower - members shall be galvanized M.S. of grade A as per IS: 2062 -1999 and IS: 808 -1989 and satisfy the relevant test as per IS codes. The fabrication shall be done in accordance with IS: 800-1984 and also in accordance with the approved drawings for the towers under maintenance. The galvanizing shall conform to IS: 4759 and 2629. The total mass of galvanizing coating shall not be less than 610 gms / Sqm i.e. 85 micron thickness)

Supplying at site hot-dipped galvanized M.S nuts, bolts, spring washers and plain washers of required size for fixing the same at the joints / junctions of tower wherever found required during maintenance of tower all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (The material for nuts, bolts shall be of grade 4.6 and as per 6639- 1972, IS: 1364 (Part I to V) -2002, IS: 1367 ( Part VIII) -1992, Plain washers as per IS: 6610-1972 and spring washers of type B as per IS:3063-1994, IS:1148-1982, IS:2015-1977).

Carrying out detailed and precise checking of all nuts and bolts, spring and plain washers provided at all the joints / junctions of base assembly , vertical legs members face bracings members, various members of working plateforms at diffrent levels etc; proper tightening of all the nuts with torque wrench of required size etc; complete including fixing of new hot dipped galvanised nuts , bolts , spring and plain washers etc., of various sizes where found missing / required including facilitating thedolote for checking the verticality of the tower masts. (The rates also include dismantling / dismembering of any deformed / bent / deshaped members which are required to be replaced of repaired. Payment for supplying hot dipped galvanised nuts , bolts , spring and plain washers, structural members etc shall be made seperately under relevent items)

Filling gap of Approx. 40 mm average thickness on each leg of tower between base plate and stem by providing and applying free flow, high strength, non-shrink, cementitious precision grout of approved quality like Conbextra GP2 etc. mixed with clean water in ratio as recommended by the manufacturer for desired consistency including preparing the surface clean, required leakproof formwork and curing complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
