| 1 | Disconnecting and dismantling the existing indoor type 11 kV VCB (horizontal draw-out type) trolley of rupturing capacity 250/350 MVA, 400/630/800 Amps from its location, and carrying out repair/overhauling including replacement of damaged spare parts (spare parts shall be measured and paid separately), complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Scope of work:(i) Inspecting/overhauling the manual/motorised spring drive mechanism including checking of mechanism, motor and gear assembly, big gear assembly, stop-bolt assembly, main shaft interlocking assembly, closing spring assembly, cam with screw, motor cut-off limit switch, butterfly switch assembly and applying multi-purpose grease for smooth operation.(ii) Inspecting/overhauling the tripping assembly, earth fault release, tripping coil, auxiliary switches and checking the complete wiring system.(iii) Cleaning and inspecting insulators and vacuum interrupters using carbon-cleaner solution and applying dry graphite conductive sealant on electrical contact surfaces to prevent carbon deposits.(iv) Reassembling all components to original positions and carrying out DC High Voltage Test and insulation resistance (IR) measurement before and after HV test, complete. |

| 3 | Overhauling, calibration and secondary injection testing of over-current and earth-fault relays/releases for all multiple settings, including readjustment with artificial load and complete testing, all as specified and directed. |
| 4 | Testing of primary injection by artificial load through CTs for all multiple settings of over-current and earth-fault relays including polarity test, ammeter test, selector switch test, and complete documentation, all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 5 | Testing of dielectric strength of transformer oil of indoor type 11 kV/433 V transformer including filtration of transformer oil through oil filtration plant for removal of moisture and impurities and improving dielectric strength to above 40 kV (1 minute). Includes topping-up with new oil and testing after filtration, all as specified.(Note : Transformer oil shall be measured and paid separately.) |

| 8 | Material and labour for disconnection of both HT and LT connections from cables and cable termination box, taking down the disconnected indoor type transformer (400 kVA to 1000 kVA, 11/0.433 kV), transportation of the unserviceable transformer unit to the transformer repairing workshop, and reinstallation after repair, including arrangement of necessary T&P, crane, vehicle for loading/unloading, complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Scope of work:(i) Draining out transformer oil, removing HT/LT studs and opening top cover for inspection of windings.(ii) Desludging of core and coil assembly by hot oil circulation/pressure and checking/testing of all accessories to identify fault level.(iii) Brazing of burnt/disconnected copper winding surfaces, studs and connectors including replacement of unserviceable bolts; refixing of existing serviceable bolts, nuts and washers of different sizes; and proper tightening.(iv) Replacement of all gasket materials of top cover, HT and LT bushings using rubberised gasket sheet 4.0/6.0 mm thickness with gasket cement, including replacement of LT/HT coils where required.(v) Repositioning core and winding assembly inside the tank, complete assembly, refilling with recovered old oil and topping-up with new transformer oil, including oil filtration and dielectric testing.(vi) After assembling the complete unit, conducting load testing, insulation resistance testing and all tests as per IEC/IS standards and submission of test certificate, complete.Note: Transformer oil and copper windings, if required, shall be measured and paid separately under relevant schedule items. |
