(c) Remove starter cover below of all and clean dust & the contacts with pressure, CTC/ alcohal/sprit and adjust the tensin of the contacts. testing of low pressure lubrication oil cutout laid down also measure insulation of all motors and record readings. sufficient lubricants of all motors/compressor motors and chillling water pump motor etc. |

Basin shall be provided with accessories like quickfill, makeup & drain pipes, Pvc construction float valve, overflow pipe etc. Motor shall be suitable for 415V ± 10%, 50Hz ± 5%, 3-phase AC supply. Motor shall be suitable for VFD operation i.e. motor suitable for any low voltage & low frequency range due to speed variation through VFD without heating and noise generation. Separate motor shall be provided in each cell in case of multi cell towers. The fan / fan motor shall be isolated from the cooling tower structure . Each tower/ each cell shall be complete with its suitable HDG Steel ladder with safety cage as per specifications. The cooling tower shall be certified for test procedure as per CTI STD-201. (i) Motors shall be TEFC, Squirrel cage induction motors, IP 66, Class F insulation.(ii)Motor Effeciency shall be as per ECBC 2017: CBC: IE3 (iii) Cooling Towers Efficiency: As per Table 5.18 of ECBC-20171. The maximum allowable sound power at a distance of 3m from the equipment shall notbe more than 75 dB(A) without sound deflector cowls. 2. Necessary civil work such as cooling tower foundations &steel structural work for placing of cooling towers on terrace are excluded from the scope of work. But necessary foundation nuts / bolts & vibration isolation compression gasket between fan housing & FRP casing to be provided. 3.. Each Cellof the tower shall have HDG Steel ladder with safety cage .Cooling Tower Type 1: Weather conditions of site location (MOC Area, Colaba) Mumbai as mentioned following : *Summer DBT / *Summer WBT: 110°F | 75°F , Monsoon DBT /* Monsoon WBT: 95°F | 83°F, Wet bulb temp. to be considered for cooling tower sizing: 83°F, Cooling Tower Approach: 7°F,Condenser water OUT (Leaving Water Temp.) LWT: 89.6°F , Condenser water IN (Entering Water Temp.) EWT: 98.6°F ,Chiller capacity:60TR X 2 Nos = 120 TR, Cooling Tower capacity: As mentioned below, Condenser water flow rate: 4 USGPM X TR of Chiller Capacity, Cooling tower\"s capacity should be adequate for total heat rejection, which shall be the total chiller capacity (TR) plus the BHP of chiller motor (IKW of motor) i.e. motor heat., Cooling Tower as described above., 576 USGPM / 144 TR (20% Higher than chiller capacity),Supply and fixing in replacement of MVPD controller of capacity 30 to 220 Amps suitable for aux supply 230 VAC as per existing model for central AC plant complete all as specified and directed. |
