Hot air welding can be either hand applied or by means of automatic machines and the roll\"s either end are overlapped with 110mm are in stagered positions and the membrane shall be laid over the layer of non-woven geotextile fiber (Minimum 200GSM). The separation layer provided to prevent the mechanical abrasion and cushioning between the Fosroc Proofex ORG membrane and the concrete substrate. The termination of Fosroc Proofex ORG by aluminium strop anchoring and sealant filling shall be as per manufacturer\"s specification. Water proofing membrane should be all weather proof and UV resistance. The TPO membrane shall have the following properties:(i)Thickness: 1.5mm(ii) Tensile Strength : >9 N/mm²(iii) Elongation at break : > 950% (ASTM D 412)(iv) Puncture resistance > 1000mm : Pass (EN 12691)(v) Water impermeability : Pass (EN 1298 & EN 12691)(vi) Tear Resistance : 470 N (EN 12310 - 1)(vii) Root Resistance : Pass Test - No Penetration(viii) Lap joint strength : Pass Test (EN 12317 & UEATc)Preparation of Surfaces: Surfaces should be free from cavities and projecting nibs. All surfaces shall be dry and free from frost, surface laitence and contamination. |
| 26 | Note for Water proofing treatment:(i) The work shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicators of the following manufacturer\"s only. MOU to be submitted before commencement of work.
