| 12 | Notes for item No. 11 above : (a) Mobilization of tools, plants, equipments and manpower required for carrying out soil investigation, setting of boring/drilling as required and later demobilization of plants and equipments after completion of work.(b) Collecting undisturbed and disturbed samples and performing STP test at every 1.5m interval.(c ) Conveyance of sample collected at site to the testing lab as required for the purpose of testing and analysis.(d) Lab testing including triaxial test, direct shear test, liquid limit, plastic limit, plasticity index, grain size, specific gravity, ground water table, soil classification, bore logs and bore hole chart, permissible settlement,unconsolidated test on undisturbed sample, crushing strength of hard rock samples recovered, unconsolidated triaxial shear test etc.(e) Estimation of SBC of soil.(f) Submitting photographic record during the process.(g) Submitting test report in triplicate, duly vetted along with detailed recommendation about type of foundation required.(h)Review of structural design based on the actual SBC obtained after soil investigation and submitting six copies of Structural Design and Drawings vetted by any IIT/NIT/Govt. College of Engg/University Institute of Technology complete all as specified and directed. The actual construction work shall be done on revised structural design if any necessitated due to soil investigation is deemed to be included in the quoted rates and no extra payment whatsoever will be paid and decision of Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final and binding. |
| 13 | Material and labour for trial pit excavation in any type of soil of size 1.2mx1.2mx2.0m and getting undisturbed and disturbed samples for performing necessary tests to obtain bearing capacity of soil complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. |
