(a) The surface to be treated with the chemical shall be made free of loose materials and should be properly cleaned. (b) Any cracks shall be filled with \"Smart care crack seal\" of Asian paints or equivalent as per the manufacturer\"s specification. (d) The surface so prepared after filling of cracks if any shall be applied with self-priming coat of damp proof (diluted with water in ratio of 3:1 (3 parts of water : 1 part of self priming coat) (e) After applying the damp proof primer apply the two coats of water proofing membrane chemical\" SMARTCARE DAMP PROOF\" of Asian Paints or equivalent as per the manufacturer\"s specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge. The second coat shall be applied after 4-6 hours after the application of first coat.: Note : (i) The rate includes all the cost of material and labour involved in the above operation except filling of cracks which will be paid seperately under relevant item.
