| 73 | (MAINTENANCE AND UPKEEPING OF NEWLY DEVELOPED PLANTS/ GARDENS UNDER ITEMNO 10.01 to 10.06 FOR 12 MONTHS)Day to Day maintenance of newly developed plants/gardens/Trees plants by deploying minimum 02 gardner (experienced Mali) for guarding / security of the plants/ gardens including triming, suitable support for trees, etc as required as per standard practice all as specified and all as directed bythe Garrison Engineer.NOTES :-(i) Periodical deweeding of unwanted vegitation growth around the plants and garden area.(ii) Watering all the Plants/Gardens/Trees as required for the proper growth.(iii)Periodical Lawn Mowing.(iv) Treating the plants and soil with required manure , pesticides and fertilizer including necessarytopping of red earth and finally fine dressing, levelling etc(v) During the maintenance of any plant, if itis found dead, not true to the name or size as specified or not in satisfactory growth, plant of approved size & shape shall be replaced by the contractor without any extra cost to the Department.(vi) Supply and application of manure, sweet earth & pesticides, fertilisers, cartage as required etc are included in quoted unit rate during maintenance period.(vii) Commencement of maintenance period of two years will commencedonly after certified date of completion of work.(viii) Water willbe supplied by MES .(ix) Hose pipe required for watering will be provieded by the contractor and their cost is deemed to be included in the unitrates quoted by the contractor.(x) Cost of maintenance and upkeep will be deemed to be inlcuded in quoted rates. (xi) Necessary T&P required shall be arranged by the contractor |
