| 3 | M & L for applying Smartcare Dampproof, a fibre reinforced elastomeric liquid water proofing membrane formulated with reinforcing acrylic fibers having Sun Reflectivity Index (SRI) of 105 on horizontal/vertical surfaces of roof/wall/chajjas in multiple coats @2.0 litre/sqm. Primary coat is self-priming coat of elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dilution with water in the ratio of 3:1, damp proof : water) and other coats to be applied undiluted. The coating needs to be reinforced with 40 GSM geotextile, to sandwiched between 2nd & 3rd coat of coating. The application shall be carried out after scrapping and properly cleaning the surface to remove loose particles with wire brushes complete all as speceified and as directed. Notes: (1) The work shall be executed through authorised applicator of manufacturer only.(2) Authrised Applicator shall be approved by GE before starting of work.(3) All materials shall be procured directly form manufacturer. (4) The contractor shall furnish a written guarantee for the effectiveness of the water proofing treatment for a periodof Eight yearsin favour of the GE. |
