The TPO membrane individual roll shall be laid over 300GSM geotextile laid over the prepared surface. All additional membranes shall then be laid with its overlaps of 50mm in longitudinal direction and side overlaps shall be minimum 100mm, fixed using hot air welding machine. Entire Surface area shall then be covered using Proofex Org or equivalent of other make in a similar manner including termination, sealing of earthing post and other ancilliaries proposed as per manufacturer methodology. The termination shall be done as per site requirement . Termination and membrane laying shall be done as per manufacturers approved methodology. Note:- (i) The waterproofing TPO membrane shall be BBA certified.(ii) Cleaning of Exisitingsurface by suitable means and other contaminants manually to attain a fairly smooth and protusion freesurface. Anyprotusions,shall be removed prior to laying of waterproofing membrane, Joints to be grouted should be clean and dust-free and remove the old tile grout before proceeding with new grouting. (iii) Termination of membrane on the parapet wall using a 1.5 mm thick, 25 mm wide aluminium strip fixed with suitable fasteners at 250 mm centresupto 300 mm parapet height and sealed using a PU sealant ( Nitoseal PU50 or equivalent of other makes), as per the manufacturer\"s instructions and the approved methodology. |
