| 7 | M&L for complete waterproofing treatment to roof surface/parapet/ terrace using Asian Paints smartcare system (Hydroloc xtreme/ Terrace shield/ Damp Proof Ultra or approved equivalent)/ Dr. Fixit (roofseal classic/roofseal select)/ Berger paint consisting of the following operations:(a) Preparation of roof surface including removal of existing bitumen coating, APP membrane completely, cement concrete (if required) laitance, dust, grease, algae/fungus by using intense wire brushing or high speed water jet for thorough cleaning.(b) Filling of visible cracks/opening with smartcare crack seal. Bigger cracks, damaged portions and hollow areas must be repaired with polymer modified cement mortar.(c) Applying primer coat (Smartcare epoxy primer/damp proof primer) @ 0.92 Sqm/ltr using roller. (d) Applying two or more coats of smartcare waterproofing system (Damp proof ultra/hydroloc xtreme/terrace shield) with reinforcement mesh at roof surfces/corners/junctions, achieving minimum total dry film thickness 1.5mm.(e) Providing protective top coat of solar reflective smartcare sunshield, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charege.Note:- Rate include for \"Taking down existing water tank from existing staging carefully and refixing the water tank in original position after waterproofing treatment including necessary fixing arrangement as required\" and the work will be done only by an authorized applicator of OEM for which the contractor will submit the documents of applicator to Engineer in Charge. |

| 23 | M&L for repair to RCC Chajjas, facia, fins/projections including taking down loose/damaged concrete, cleaning of exposed reinforcement with wire brush, applying one coat of anticorrosive primer on reinforcement, and making good with polymer modified cement mortar (1:2) to required thickness, finished even and smooth to match existing surface, including necessary formwork, scaffolding and curing, applying two coats of cement base paint to match the existing surface complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make for polymer modified cement mortar:- Asian paint, Dr. Fixit and equivalentNote: Work will be carried out up to a height of 20 m from ground level. |

| 29 | M&L for cleaning of any type of roof surfaces by removing dirt, dust, loose particles, algae, fungus, moss, roots, vegetation growth, bird droppings and any foreign material completely. The work shall include scrapping, wire brushing, sweeping, washing with clean water, applying approved chemical solution (where directed) for treatment of fungus/algae, and disposal of all rubbish/muck outside the MoD land as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Work will be carried out up to a height of 20 m from GL. |
