| 17 | COMMON NOTES FOR ITEM NO 03 & SUB-ITEMS THEREOF:- (1) The work shall be executed only through an authorised applicator of the respective manufacturer, after concluding an MOU/Agreement with the manufacturer for a company-backed guarantee.(2) The MOU/Agreement copy shall be submitted to the Garrison Engineer (GE) by the contractor along with the Performance Security before issue of the Work Order. In case of failure to do so, the contract is liable to be cancelled and the contractor shall be responsible for penalties as stipulated in the tender documents.(3)The contractor shall give a guarantee for 10 years for the effectiveness of the water proofing treatment and submit security depost as specified in particular specifications.(4) The execution procedure, surface preparation, and mix proportions of all materials shall be carried out strictly in accordance with the manufacturer’s latest technical data sheet (TDS) and recommendations.(4) The contractor shall submit complete technical details, product data sheets, and material specifications of all proposed items for prior approval of the GE before commencement of work.(5) The contractor shall procure all materials directly from the respective manufacturers and submit authenticated purchase vouchers/invoices as proof of genuine procurement. All materials shall be from the same manufacturer to ensure compatibility(6) Cost of waterproof coating system, primer, geotextile fabric or HDPE sheet, screed bed, ceramic tiles, and epoxy grout shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate of the respective item.(7) The quoted rate shall be deemed to include all consumables, T&P, scaffolding, curing arrangements, testing, and safety gear required for the satisfactory completion of the work in all respects. |

The Department shall bear no responsibility for any accident, injury or loss of life, and the contractor shall indemnify the Department against all such claims or damages.(4) In case the planned MS structure, truss, grill, purlin, bracing, roofing arrangement or similar work differs from the existing structure, proper measurement of the existing structure to be dismantled shall be recorded in the Measurement Book (MB) duly signed by the Engineer-in-Charge. |
