1	POST ANTI-TERMITE TREATMENT
2	M&L for providing and injecting chemical emulsion for post construction Anti-Termite treatment along external wall below concrete or masonry apron using chemical emulsion @ 2.25 litres per linear metre including drilling and plugging, 12mm dia holes with cement mortar 1:2 to match the existing surfacescomplete all as specified and directed.
3	M&L for providing and injecting chemical emulsion for treatment of soil under existing floors using chemical emulsion @ one litre per hole, 300 mm apart including drilling and plugging 12 mm dia holes with cement mortar (1:2) to match the existing floors complete all as specified and directed.
4	M&L for providing and injecting chemical emulsion for treatment of voids in masonry using chemical emulsion one litre per hole, at 300mm intervals including drilling holes at 45degree and replugging them with cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand) to match the existing floors complete all as specified and directed.
5	M&L for providing and injecting chemical emulsion for post construction anti - termite treatment at points of contact of wood work by chemical emulsion (in oil or kerosene based solution) @ 0.50 litres per hole by drilling 6 mm dia holes at a downward angle of 45 degree at 150 mm centre to centre and sealing the same complete all as specified and directed.
6	GENERAL NOTES FOR ITEM NO 01:-1) Anti-termite treatment work shall be carried out through authorised applicators having valid license from IPCA.2) Anti-termite chemical shall be procured in sealed containers and kept in custody of Engineer-in-Charge. Material would be issued by JE/AGE as per site requirement.3) Quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of the cost of all T&P, protective gear and safety arrangements required for satisfactory execeution of the work.
7	BRICKWORK & RCC WORK
8	M&L for Brick Work with Fly-AshBricks (Old Size Bricks), Straight or Curved on Plan exc. 6.0 Metre mean Radius, built in Cement Mortar 1:6 incl demolition of old brick work built in Cement Mortar and in any Position including all Quoins, Arches and Pillars, etc., and removal of debris outside AF land complete all as specified and directed.
9	Demolition Cement Concrete (Reinforced) of kitchen slab and similar work (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) and removing debris, etc. to Outside MOD Land, complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: Old reinforcement shall be measured under Sch of Credit.
10	-ditto- but for demolition of Cement Concrete (Reinforced) of Roof, Floor (other than Ground Floor) Beam, Staircase, Landings, Chajjas and similar work complete

(NOTE: MS reinforcement & Formwork shall be measured and paid seperately)
13	M&L for formwork to soffits of suspended slabs such as roof slabs, kitchen slabs, shelves, floor slabs, landings, chajja and similar work; not exceeding 200 mm thick (horizontal or sloping) for rough finished surfaces complete all as specified and directed.
14	M&L TMT Bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally for hoping for Columns, hooking Ends and binding with and including Mild Steel Wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with Clips, complete all as specified and directed.
15	M&L Pre-cast Reinforced Cement Concrete 1:2:4 (20mm graded stone aggregate) in Slabs, Manhole Cover Slabs, etc., set in Cement Mortar 1:4, with necessary formwork including dismantling and removal of damaged precast slabs etc complete all as specified & directed.NOTE : Reinforcement will be Measured and Paid separately under relevant Item. Old reinforcement will be measured under Sch of Credit.
16	WATERPROOFING TREATMENT ON ROOFS
17	COMMON NOTES FOR ITEM NO 03 & SUB-ITEMS THEREOF:- (1) The work shall be executed only through an authorised applicator of the respective manufacturer, after concluding an MOU/Agreement with the manufacturer for a company-backed guarantee.(2) The MOU/Agreement copy shall be submitted to the Garrison Engineer (GE) by the contractor along with the Performance Security before issue of the Work Order. In case of failure to do so, the contract is liable to be cancelled and the contractor shall be responsible for penalties as stipulated in the tender documents.(3)The contractor shall give a guarantee for 10 years for the effectiveness of the water proofing treatment and submit security depost as specified in particular specifications.(4) The execution procedure, surface preparation, and mix proportions of all materials shall be carried out strictly in accordance with the manufacturer’s latest technical data sheet (TDS) and recommendations.(4) The contractor shall submit complete technical details, product data sheets, and material specifications of all proposed items for prior approval of the GE before commencement of work.(5) The contractor shall procure all materials directly from the respective manufacturers and submit authenticated purchase vouchers/invoices as proof of genuine procurement. All materials shall be from the same manufacturer to ensure compatibility(6) Cost of waterproof coating system, primer, geotextile fabric or HDPE sheet, screed bed, ceramic tiles, and epoxy grout shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate of the respective item.(7) The quoted rate shall be deemed to include all consumables, T&P, scaffolding, curing arrangements, testing, and safety gear required for the satisfactory completion of the work in all respects.
18	M&L for dismantling and removal of existing waterproofing treatment of any type and thickness such as bituminous felt, APP membrane, or similar polymeric waterproofing membrane alongwith cement screed bed, any thickness including removal of vegetation, moss, or plants, cleaning the exposed surface, and disposal of all debris outside MOD land, complete all as specified and directed.NOTE:- Demolition of concrete padding over RCC roof, if any below the waterproofing treatment, shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant items.
19	M&L for uprooting of plants or vegetation growth from wallup to roof level, applying two coats of tartaric acid and repair to broken/chipped off plastered surfaces with cement mortar 1:3 in patches not exc 2.0 sqm and removal of debris outside MOD land and disposed off complete all as specified and directed.
20	Demolition of plain cement concrete padding over roof of buildings and removal of debris and disposing outside MOD area complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE: For measurement purpose, only thickness of cement concrete portion shall be considered.
21	M&L for cutting open visible cracks in existing roofs or terraces to a ‘V’ groove, cleaning thoroughly to remove dust, loose particles, and laitance, and filling with approved acrylic / epoxy crack filler paste, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.(MAKE: STP, PLASTISEAL / FOSROC, RENDEROC CS / SIKA, SIKADUR-20)
22	M&L for preparation of old concrete surfaces such as roofs, terraces, and parapets, etc., by picking, wire-brushing, and sweeping clean to remove dust, dirt, laitance, oil, grease, and all loose or de-bonded concrete/screed layers, washing down with clean water to remove foreign matter, and applying one coat of polymer-modified cement slurry consisting of cement mixed with approved polymer (such as SBR or Acrylic Latex) as per manufacturer\"s recommendations, thoroughly brushed over the cleaned and damp surface to form a uniform bonding/waterproofing coat ensuring full coverage at all junctions and corners complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.(Make: STP – SHALSBR LATEX / FOSROC – NITOBOND SBR / SIKA – SIKA LATEX)
23	M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate) as padding over roof slab for grade correction, laid over polymer-modified cement slurry, mixed with and including liquid waterproofing compound as per manufacturer’s recommendations, finished even & smooth, laid to proper slope with roof kerbs and rounded or chamfered edges, complete all as specified & directed.Note : Water Proofing compound shall be measured and paid seperately as \"Supply only\". Polymer modified slurry, to be applied before laying of PCC padding shall be measured and paid seperately)
24	Supply only Liquid Water Proofing Compound, ISI Marked, as approved, complete all as specified and directed.
25	M&L for cleaning and preparation of freshly laid concrete padding surfaces over roofs, terraces, and parapets, etc. and applying one coat of polymer-modified cement slurry consisting of cement mixed with approved polymer (such as SBR or Acrylic Latex) as per manufacturer\"s recommendations, thoroughly brushed over the cleaned and damp surface to form a uniform bonding/waterproofing coat ensuring full coverage at all junctions and corners, complete all as specified and directed.(Make: STP – SHALISBR LATEX / FOSROC – NITOBOND SBR / SIKA – SIKA LATEX)(NOTE: This item shall be provided only when cement mortar bedding layer is provided over new PCC padding and when PCC padding and cement mortar layer are not laid monolotically)
26	M&L for applying a 10 mm thick layer of cement mortar (1:3) mixed with SBR Latex as per manufacturer’s recommendations, over old or new PCC padding, to form a smooth and even surface, including rounding/angling at the junctions of roof slab and parapet walls, complete all as specified and directed.(NOTE: Polymer modified slurry, to be applied before laying of cement mortar bedding shall be measured and paid seperately)
27	M&L for cleaning the surface thoroughly to remove all dust, dirt, loose particles, oil, and other foreign matter, and applying Single-component aliphatic polyurethane-based liquid-applied waterproof coating having a minimum Solar Reflectance Index (SRI) of 106 on inaccessible roofs, terraces, and parapets in three coats (including one primer coat of the same material diluted with clean water in the ratio recommended by the manufacturer) at specified intervals, applied to achieve the manufacturer’s recommended dry film thickness (DFT), including curing, finishing, and testing, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.(MAKE: STP, SHALIURETHANE BTD / SIKA, SIKALASTIC-590 IN / FOSROC, NITOPROOF 725)NOTES:- Dry Film Thickness (DFT):(1) The total dry film thickness (DFT) of the polyurethane waterproofing membrane (excluding the diluted primer coat) shall not be less than 1.2 mm for the complete system (two finish coats), applied in multiple coats as per the manufacturer’s technical data sheet.(2) Wet film thickness (WFT) shall be measured for each coat, and the cumulative WFT shall be converted to DFT using the manufacturer’s solids-by-volume data.(3) The final acceptance tolerance shall be ±10%.(4) In case any manufacturer’s technical data sheet specifies a higher minimum DFT, the higher value shall govern.
28	PLASTERING, WHITE WASH, DISTEMPERING & PAINTING
29	M&L for complete removal of existing treatment on old painted surfaces of walls by scrapping andremoving layers of all wall finishes including cleaning, watering to make the surface clean and free from dust, etc incl necessary scaffolding, safety and protective measures complete all as specified and directed.
30	Taking down Cement Plaster including raking out Joints, hacking for Key, scrubbing down with Water and removing Debris, etc. to Outside MD/AF Land, complete all as specified and directed.
31	M&L for Rendering (Internal) 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 on Brick Walls or concrete surfaces, finished Even & Smooth without using Extra Cement complete all as specified and directed.
32	M&L for Rendering 5.0mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 on Concrete Surfaces of Ceilings, Plastered Surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.
33	M&L for Rough Cast Plaster on Brick Walls consisting Under Coat of Cement and Sand Mortar 1:3 not less than 10mm thick and while it is still in Plastic state the Rough Cast Mixture consisting of Crushed Stone or Fine Gravel mixed with Coarse Sand and Cement in the Ratio 1:1:1 shall be applied and finish Even, complete all as specified and directed.

36	M&L for preparing New/Undecorated Plastered Surfaces of Walls, applying a coat of suitable cement primer followed by a Coat of 2.0 mm thick Wall Putty (in two layers of 1mm thick) including rubbing down with Sand Paper to obtain a smooth finish surface and finishing with Two Coats of Acrylic Distemper (as approved) as per desired shade/tint complete all as specified and as directed.

Maintain an outward slope of 1:20 for safe drainage of any trapped seepage water. 161	COMMON NOTES TO ITEM NO 10 AND SUB ITEMS THEREOF:- (1) The quoted rates shall be deemed to include the cost of all tools and plants (T&P) such as scaffolding, ladders, ropes, welding and cutting equipment, drilling machines, safety harnesses, lifelines, helmets and all other necessary safety gear and protective measures required for execution of the work at all heights, including working at heights up to 15 metres above ground level or as actually required at site.(2) The quoted rates shall also be deemed to include all fixing accessories, consumables and incidental items such as self-drilling screws with EPDM washers, G.I. anchor bolts, nuts, bolts, cleats, screws, rawl plugs, sealants, welding electrodes, fasteners and all other materials required for proper completion of the work in all respects, including incidental cutting, drilling, welding, removal of minor welded or bolted connections, safe lowering, stacking and removal of dismantled materials from site.(3) The contractor shall ensure adequate safety arrangements for all personnel engaged in the work and shall be solely responsible and liable for the safety of his workmen during execution, dismantling or installation operations. The Department shall bear no responsibility for any accident, injury or loss of life, and the contractor shall indemnify the Department against all such claims or damages.(4) In case the planned MS structure, truss, grill, purlin, bracing, roofing arrangement or similar work differs from the existing structure, proper measurement of the existing structure to be dismantled shall be recorded in the Measurement Book (MB) duly signed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
