| 4 | Material & labour cleaning the existing deteriorated reinforcement by sand blasting / mechanical rotary brushes whereverreinforcement is corroded by more than 30% providing extra reinforcement of new cold twisted CRS bars including cutting, bending and straightening and placing in position complete in all levels and if necessary welding the new bars with the existing. Rods by over lapping with all lead and lift etc. Complete and as directed by the Engineer in charge. |
| 5 | Removing the loose particles rust / mild scale deposits completely duly cleaning it with wire brush / crush sheet etc. and removing the dust etc complete over the old concrete surface and supply of zinc rich epoxy primer NITOZINC PRIMER and mixing mechanically until it is homogenous with all lead and lift etc. complete and as directed by the Engineer in charge. |
| 6 | Apply one coat of rust remover chemicals such as feovert from Krishna conchom/ Rust remover from Dr Fixit/ shali Rustoff from STP/on steel surface including all lead and lift etc completed all as directed by Engineer in Charge. |
| 7 | Repair to slab & beam using structural grade ready mixed epoxy mortar such as EPCO-KP-HP-350 Krishna Conchom / Epoxy repair mortar from Dr Fixit / Nitobond AR & RenderocS2 of FOSROC. After surface preparation the substrate should be thoroughly soaked with water (any excess being removed) Prior to applying one coat of Nitobond SBR and scrubbing it well into the surface. Renderoc S2 can be applied as soon as the Nitobond AR become tacky. Place about 2.75 litres of drinking quality water in the mixer and, add the supplied liquid polymer part and mix with the machine in operation, add Renderoc S2 powder and mix for 2 to 3 minutes apply themixed Renderoc S2 to the prepared substrate with a gloved hand or trowel. First work a mini layer of the mortar on to the layer. Thoroughly compact the mortar on to primed substrate. Where thicker sections are required, the surface of the intermediate layer should be scratch keyed and primed with Nitobond AR. Repriming with Nitobond AR and further application of Renderoc S2 may proceed as soon as this layer has set. Renderoc S2 is finished by striking off with a straight edge and closing with a steel float. Applying one coat of acrylic curing membrane NITOBOND AR mixed with water in the ratio 1:1 with all lead and lift etc, complete and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. |
