Maintenance of the transformer and OLTC includes attending to oil leakages, opening and inspecting the OLTC and main transformer chamber, replacing all rubberized cork sheet gaskets and rubber bushings on both LV and HT bushing sides, conducting relay testing, replacing valves wherever necessary, checking and repairing control wiring, draining and refilling transformer oil, and tightening all terminal connections after opening them.Note: Any additional work that may arise shall be carried out by the vendor as directed by the Associate Dean (EW) or Site Engineer, VNIT, Nagpur.

Filtration and Testing of Transformer oil up to 60 kV BDVfor 1 MVA outdoor transformer with its full oil capapcity.

Supply and filling of silica gel in transformer breathers as per IS:3401, whenever required.Note: Any leftover silica gel after filling shall be stored in an airtight container with a capacity of 5–10 kg.
