| 1 | M&L forapplying one coat of white wash on old decorated surface of walls using roller brush including preparation of old decorated plastered/unplastered surface of wall complete all as specified and directed.Note:-(i) Preparation of old surfaces shall include brooming down with steel wire brushes, scrapping down smoke spot moulds, moss efflorescent salts and treating oil and greasy spot, removing of nails, making good holes, cracks, loose scales etc.(ii) Contractor shall ensure carefull application of paint/white wash / colour wash so as to avoid splashes, droplets, brush marks on floors, glass, joinery, electric fitting etc. If such things can not be avoided and appears, the Contractor shall ensure complete removal and cleaning such articles. Cost of the same deemed included in quoted unit rates.(iii) Contractor shall provide all T&P, scaffolding, jhoola, safety measures etc required and cost of the same deemed included in quoted unit rate.(iv) The unit rates quoted shall be considered applicable for G+2.5 Bldgs. |

| 6 | M&L for preparation of old treated surfaces of wall for finishing coat (s) of paint in following steps:-Step (i):- Complete removal of existing treatment by mechanical means with entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.Step (ii) :- Applying 2mm thick wall care putty (in one or two coats as per requirement or as directed by Engineer-in-Charge) and making surface smooth and clean using sand paper of appropriate grade with entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.Step (iii) :- Applying one coat of wall primer (interrior /exterior as applicable). |
| 7 | M&L for preparation of new surfaces of wall for finishing coat (s) of paint in following steps:-Step (i):- Cleaning of surfaces by brooming down and watering with entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.Step (ii) :- Applying 2mm thick wall care putty (in one or two coats as per requirement or as directed by Engineer-in-Charge) and making surface smooth and clean using sand paper of appropriate grade with entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.Step (iii) :- Applying one coat of wall primer (interrior /exterior as applicable). |
