Elongation - 500%-600%2. Solid contents - 80%, 3.Tensile Strength - 1.6N/mm2 4. Adhesion to concrete - 2.2N/mm2 5. Initial hardness shore strength - 60Min. 6. Tear Strength - 14Mpa. 7. Total thickness of layer shall be 1.2 - 1.5mm.Note : The net area of water proofing treatment shall be measured without any extra allowance for laps & portion inserted in groove which shall be deemed included in the quoted rates.The work for roof treatment shall include the following and the rates quoted by the bidder shall include the same-(aa) The work pertaining to roof treatment shall be executed by the contractor as per MoU from authorised applicator through manufacturer of the materials like PU primer etc after approval by the GE.(ab) The contractor shall upload with the documents under cover-I \"Memorandum of Understanding\"(MoU)with at least one of the manufacturers mentionedin the contract, failing which the bid shall be liable to be rejected. |

| 10 | Treatment of roof expansion joint : All the surface shall be clean with diamont griding machine to remove all the loose and oily material for the concrete surface. Apply epoxy ahesive Sikadur combiflex adhasive /Rearbond 4031 on the both side of the joint with coverage of 7 kg/RM. Apply EPO Tape 2mm x 200mm Sikadur combiflex SG/sealarm Tape TPE on the adhesive to seal the expansion joint . Apply seal layer of Epoxy adhesive on the corners of the tape to seal properly with a consumption of 0.7 kg/RM. Adhisive must be 2-part thixotropic epoxy adhesive for sikadur combiflex SG tape system. The epoxy adhesive must be capable of bondingof bonding with concrete and metal. The compressive strenth must be > 45 N/mm2 in 1 day according to ASTM C 579 and bond strenth of > 1.5 n/MM2 according to ISO 4624 for both concrete and metal substrates.The tape system must be capable of resisting hydrostatic pressure upto 6 bar according to EN 1928-B, tensile strenth . 1.2 N.mm2 according to EN 12311-2, tear strength . 40 N/mm according to EN 12310-2 elongation > 650% according to EN 12311-2 seam strength > 40 N/5cm according to EN 12317-2 chemically resistance to seveal chemicals passes low temperature foldability at -40 C according to EN 495-5, passes artificial weathering 7500 hrs according to EN ISO 4892-2. The tape must be capable of servicing a wide range of temperature of -40 C to + 60 C. |
