| 17 | M&L for waterproof cement based putty @ 1 Kg (undiluted) per sq mtr of average thickness 1 mm over the plastered/old painted wall after scrapping to prepare the surface even and smooth complete and sanding of the putty surface with mechanical wall sander (having mechanical vacuum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of 240 Grit or above to make the surface free from dust etc. by skilled labour as per following steps:-Step 1:- Mix the putty powder by adding water as per manufacturer instructions and mix it with putty mixer with the mixing capacity of min 2.5 kg putty per minute. Step 2:- Apply the first coat the prepared mixer with the help of fully automatic airless spray machine of putty application having flow speed of max 6 ltrs per minutes with a maximum pressure 3300 PSI Step 3:- Allow 6-8 hrs time to dry the putty surface.Note:-(a) The work pertaining to periodical services & WaterProofing shall be executed from authorized applicatorthrough manufacturer of which the materials .i.e. Paint, Distemper, Putty etc is proposed to be used by the contractor and approved by Garrison Engineer.(b) Cost of scaffolding upto 15m height ofbuilding is included in this item. (c) The contractor shall upload along with the documents under cover-l, \"Memorandum of Understanding\" (MOU) with only one manufacturer mentioned in the contract, failing which the bid shall be liable to be rejected. (d) Masking of window/doors during spray painting usingpolythenefilm will be included. (e) Cleaning and clearing site of paint, mats etc included. (f) 5 years guarantee of painting work will be admissible after date of completion and 15% amount will be reserve against painting work after date of completion for the 05 years. |
