| 1 | Propping and supporting the structural members and its adjoining areas with steel props (adjustable or as required), bracings, steel/timber runners etc to relieve the structural member of the required load coming over it as per the pattern given by the contractor & approved by Engineer-in-charge complete. |
| 2 | Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side at all height made using 40mm diameter M.S. tube spaced @ 1.5m center to center at both horizontal and vertical joining with cup and lock system with M.S.tube, M.S.tube challies, M.S clamps and M.S staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc., including maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved, removing after completion of repair works, the scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners connection with the building, etc., wherever required for essential safety features for the workmen, etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.Note: 1) The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. 2)The buildings are of Ground+ 2 storeyed structure and the contractor has to observe all safety procedure while working on heights as per I.S. 3696 (Part-I) - 1987. (Safety Code for scaffolds).3) All working platform must be of minimum 600 mm wide, made of M.S pipe and must have guard rails as per specification.4) Screen of suitable material shall be provided to the full height of scaffolding and securely tied to protect falling objects coming out during the repair work is in progress.5) To protect workers on lower platform against falling objects from higher level over head protection should be provided on the scaffolds.6)Necessary aluminium/ M.S. ladder shall be provided at the cost of the contractor, to the full height of scaffolding at required location around the building to enable Departmental Supervisor/Engineer climb up and closely watch the repair work of the building. |

Stop boards for construction joints will not be measured seperately for payment). |
| 5 | Providing and casting insitu Reinforced Cement Concrete 1:1.5:3 using machine crushed hard broken granite stone of nominal size 20mm including mechanical mixing, transporting, placing at all lifts, vibrating, consolidation, curing, finishing smooth all exposed faces, for all insitu concrete items, etc. as per drawings and specifications.(Note :The rate quoted shall be exclusive of reinforcement and formwork which will be paid for separately under relevant items.) |

| 7 | Providing and laying Cementitious water proofing treatment system comprising of bond coat, top screed concrete including preparation of surface by chipping/dismantling the existing loose surfaces/ roof tiles with bed mortar, cleaning the surface by washing throughout, filling the cracks using approved crack fillers, injection/ grouting the cracks where ever required with cement slurry using suitable water proofing admixtures, applying bond coat, finishing the top with 20mm thick IPS flooring with water proofing admixtures, leak test, curing, etc., all completeas perspecifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note:-i) Cost of dismantling the existing tiles and bed concrete, grouting the cracks if any required will be paid separately under relevant item.ii) This treatment should be done by an agency specialized in the job having sufficient knowledge of waterproofing treatment, authorized trained applicator should be used and certificate should be submitted before commence the work. iii)This work shall be executed at inaccessible terrace at a height of upto 11m. Aluminium mobile tower scaffolding having double width platform with stairway as directed by EIC shall be provided by the contractor to access the working area during execution of work.iv)Five years guarantee from the date of completion of maintenance period shall be given by the contractor in the prescribed format of the department for the workmanship and the materials provided.v) 50% (Fifty percent) of security deposit will be retained as performance security for the guarantee period and the same will be released after successful completion of the guarantee period i.e., after five years to be reckoned from the date after the maintenance period prescribed in the contract. |

Applying rust converter of make Dominator plus or Bostik (Bostokleen) or FAB Chemical (Mixcoat RP). b) Anticorrosive coating: - Application of anticorrosive coating (corrosion inhibitor) of make MC Bauchemie (Zentrifix KMH) or FAB Chemical (Mixcoat ZR) or Bostik (Bostik ZRP) or Ultratech (Bindcrete). Mixing ratio of chemicals, consumption and application shall be as per manufacturer specifications. |

| 21 | i) Surface preparation: Remove the existing coatings, paints, etc., Seal the surface cracks by cutting \"V\" shaped grooves and filling with crack & using seal compound. Clean the surface throughly to remove the dirts and contaminates and keep dry prior to the primer application, debonded or weak plaster must be replaced with polymer modified mortar.ii) Bond Coat (1st Coat) : Applying Base primer bond coat with of make FAB chemical (MIXBond AC) or Bostik (Boscocem 476) over the existing surface. Mixing ratio consumption and application procedure shall be as per manufacturer specifications. iii) Highly flexible cementious water proofing coat (2nd & 3rd Coat): Applying 2 component waterproofing coating of make FAB Chemical (Mixguard AC) or Bostik (Boscolastic). Duration between these two coats shall be minimum 4 hrs. Mixing ratio of chemicals, consumption and application procedure shall be as per manufacturer specifications. iv) One coat of external wall primer (3rd coat): Applying one coat of external wall primer of make Asian or other approved equivalent,consumption and application procedure shall be as per manufacturer specifications.v) One coat of premium exterier emulsion paint (4th coat): Applying one coat of premium exterior emulsion paint of make Asian (APEX - DUST PROOF) or other approved equivalent make of approved shade or match with existing shade. Mixing ratio of paint, consumption and application shall be as per manufacturer specifications.Note: Cost for plastering will be paid for separately under relevant item. |
