| 7 | Preparation of newly plastered/RCC surfaces, making the surface completely dry and applying a coat of bitumen primer, having density in range of 0.87 to 0.89 kg/litre at 25 degree centigrade and viscosity of 70 to 160 CPS, manufactured by same manufacturer @ 0.4 ltr/sqm shall be applied and after drying of primer for 24 hours apply APP modified prefabricatedwater proofing membrane with non - woven polyster reinforcement, 3mm thick superior multipolymeric, weighing not less than 3.00 kg/sqm with properties of high penetration and centre core consisting of 90 micron high molecular high density polyetylene (MHHDPE) film consisting of five layers laid with torching application to the surface comeplete and sealing the side as well as end laps with torch (overlaps should not be less than 10cm in longitudinal direction and 15cm in traverse direction and shall be bonded with bitumen primer and levelled by heating the overlaps with brutane torch) ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
