| 1 | Dismantling and taking down old cold room including various components of refrigeration system such as compressors, condensers, insulations, doors etc and depositing in MES store yard with and including demolition of foundation for facilitating renewal of BER Cold Room complete. |
| 2 | Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Walk-in Cold Room of nominal size 24\"x13\"x9\" for medical storage consisting of walls and ceiling panels made out of SS-304 (inner and outer skin) of 24 SWG sheet 80 mm thick ecofriendly cyclopentane PUF insulation and floor insulation using 80 mm thick PUF slab with SS inside and PGI outside. The system shall include 2 Nos air cooled condensing units each having capacity not less than 44400 Btu/Hr (1 Working & 1 Standby with auto change over and run-time equalisation between working and standby units) with scroll/ reciprocatingcompressors operating on R404A refrigerants designed to maintain a temperature of +2°C to +8°C. The cold room door shall be of size 34\"x78\" SS 304 swing type with 3 Nos heavy duty hinges, 80 mm insulation, door heaters, digital temperature indicators and a controller unit. The work includes the supply and installation of required copper piping with insulation, ball valves in suction and discharge lines, all safety features, manual lock inside, internal override, internal electric hooter, external key lock, indoor to outdoor communication cable, condensor stand with protective shed for condensing units, PCC foundation works, electrical wiring with MCB DBs/MCBs, LED lighting and stainless steel 304 racks - 11 Nos of size 7 ft x3.5 ft x 7.5 ft (H) with 3 shelves made of3 mm thick SS sheet complete in all respect in confirmation to relevant standards and best engineering practices. |

| 4 | (i) All items / components / accessories which are useful and necessary for efficient working of the Walk-in Cold Room shall deemed to be included in it irrespective of the fact whether such items are specifically mentioned in it or not. |
| 5 | (ii) The work shall be carried out through OEM or his authorized agency. Contractor with consultation of OEM shall submit detailed drawing of walk-in cold room alongwith position and dimension of rack, railing, indoor unit etc for approval by GE before installation. |
| 6 | (iii) Refrigerant and drain pipes shall be laid on proper support and tray as recommended by OEM. |
| 7 | (iv) Log data meter showing minimum past 24 hrs data. |
| 8 | (v) False ceiling alongwith accessories required to be removed during the erection of the unit shall be made good as required. |
| 9 | S&F ABC powder fire extinguisher Mono Ammonium Phosphate (MAP 90 based portable stored pressure) of capacity 6.0 kg. |
| 10 | S&F Sign board of size 1.0 m x 0.6 m made of white acrylic sheet 2 mm thick and writing “COLD STORAGE FOR MEDICAL STORE DEPTT” with arial black font of size not less than 100 mm and not more than 150 mm and fixing accessories on wall with suitable supports as required. |
| 11 | S&F GI earth strip of size 32x6 mm (to be measured beyond 7.5 m length). |
| 12 | M&L for earthing with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to galvanised earth strip 32 x 6 mm upto 7.5 m by means of steel bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I (2009) and testing on completion with and including PCC pit in mix 1:3:6 type C1 with RCC 1:2:4type B-1, 40 mm thick cover reinforced with 6 mm dia M.S bars 3 Nos both ways with lifting hook made out of 6 mm dia bar, watering arrangement with funnel and wire mesh and 20 mm bore light grade GI watering pipe, common salt and charcoal filling, necessary excavation and earth work as required. |
