Discharging the entire quantity of catalyst and honey comb bodies from each bed of the converter (2 layers of honey comb bodies of 50 mm below and above each bed). After proper grading by sieving and sorting, it should be kept in 50 Kg polythene bags. First three beds shall be discharged in accordance with special condition No. 19. While discharging the catalyst from IV Bed, follow the special condition No.20 strictly. After discharging the catalyst, each bed shall be cleaned thoroughly for inspection purpose.

Recharging the entire quantity of sieved catalyst and honeycomb bodies to the respective bed of the converter including make up with new catalyst (2 layers of honey comb bodies of 50 mm below and above each bed).Make up quantity shall be brought from Stores/ as is where is condition inside the company.The internals of the converter including all six bell mouths, man hole dummies, pressure drop nipples and roof area, shall be cleaned before charging the catalyst. Transport the unwanted catalyst and catalyst dust etc., from the site to the designated area of stores (See condition No.18).While loading the catalyst to IV Bed follow the special condition of No.20.
