Conducting standard penetration test and collection of samples up to a depth of 10mconducting tests on disturbed and undisturbed soil samples at an interval of 1.00 mtr or change of strata as per relevant IS code collected to find out the shear parameters, grain size analysis, index properties, natural moisture content, bulk density etc. as per relevant IS code complete all as specified and directed. |

Setting up of loading platform, plate hydraulic jack and settlement measurement devices as per IS: 1888 and loading up to the required load using aggregate to conduct the test. For conducting plate load test to determine the bearing capacity and load/settlement characteristics of soil at shallow depth by loading a plate and levelled steel plate kept at the desired depth and measuring the settlement under different loads until a desired settlement takes place or failure occurs conform to IS : 1888 complete all as specified and directed. |
| 22 | Note for item Nos 10 to 21:- Rate quoted includedsubmitting six copies of complete report consisting of each and every detail of location, borehole profiles and cross sections, description of soil strata, laboratory and field test results, calculation details, comments and recommendations for multi storied and single storied building on use and type of foundation including dia of pile, length of pile and safe load carrying capacity as per IS and any at user recommendation, for single storied building, size of raft foundation, depth of foundation etc as applicable complete all as specified and directed. |
| 23 | Review of structural design based on the actual SBC obtained after soil investigation and submitting six copies (four sets in plain paper and two sets in tracing sheet) of Structural Design and Drawings vetted by any IIT/NIT/Govt. College of Engg/University Institute of Technology complete all as specified and directed. The actual construction work shall be done on revised structural design if any necessitated due to soil investigation is deemed to be included in the quoted rates and no extra payment whatsoever will be paid and decision of Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final and binding. |
| 24 | PILE FOUNDATION |
| 25 | Boring for Bored cast in situ piles 450mm dia, to any depth to the bottom of pile cap (as shown in drawing)through any type of soil /stata using DMC method (Direct mud circulation) using bentonite slurry including of bored material, with piling equipment and remove the bored material out of MoD land all as specified and as directed.Note : (i)The rate shall include moblization erection, dismanatling and demoblization of equipment for pile boring including all labour and material. Nothing extra shall be payable for moblization of equipments separately.(ii)Tests of piles shall be as mentioned in Sch A Notes and PS. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of all these tests and nothing extra shall be payable whatsoever. |
| 26 | Excavating over area not exceeding 1.5m deep in any type of soil including bailing out/pumping out water on account of spring/rain or any other causes using any method as required and as directed by Engr-in-Charge for pile caps etc all as specified and shown on drawing. |

| 35 | EXTERNAL ELECTRIC SUPPLY: Supply, Installation, testing and commissioning of weather and vermin proof outdoor typepanel box factory made, front and back openable double door type, CPRI approved, fabricated out of 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet compartmentalized design including mild steel channel frame of ISMC 75 at the base of panel only for grouted with PCC using 20mm graded stone aggregate, duly epoxy powder coated complete with heat shrink insulated aluminium bus bar of 200 Amps rating 4 Nos, including all connections with aluminium strips, pillar box shall be provided with danger notice plate with skull and bone sign, PVC gasketed and sealed, making all incoming and out going electrical cable connections with new lugs, glands to be provided at cable entries, including angle iron support 50x50x6 mm with 50 cm height from ground level at the base of panel complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
