| 1 | Schedule \"A\" Part - I [COFFERDAM][TEMPORARY STRUCTURE] |
| 2 | Design, consultancy and execution for proposed suitable cofferdam around existing slipway, the design duly vetted by any NIT for carrying out repair/replacement of following works:-(i) Replacement of water/under water rails of slipway total 2400 RM (Appx.) (32 Nos x 75m) including base plates, fish plates, projecting bolts, rails in transition and inclined area including Under Water portion and removal of silt deposited over the slipway slab and its disposal in outer sea at VPT designated dumping locations.(ii) Slipway repairs are to be carried out after dewatering the area by installing suitable coffer dam/sheet pile structure and bailing out water using high discharge pumps etc. Necessary demolition of RCC/PCC below/around rails, removal of existing rails, fixtures, bolts, plates etc. to be carried out.(iii) The mother slab to be checked for integrity, any structural damages, crack, spalling etc. duly vetted by team of IIT and necessary structural repairs as necessary to be carried out. (iv) New bolts are to be installed by drilling into slipway slab and fixing with lock fix chemicals/grouts, fixing new rails on base plates with necessary clamps, fish plates and other accessories, provision of sacrificial anodes along the length of rails for corrosion protection. |
| 3 | Item No. 1.01(Contd.....) (v) Laying of necessary wiring/connections and connecting with existing ICCP panel including replacement of ICCP panel components as required for making the ICCP system fully operational, relaying PCC/RCC as required to encase the sides of rails as per original slope, alignment and profiles to match the existing rail system. (vi) Quoted rate shall be deemed for any other repair/strenthning work required. (vi) Adequate working space around existing slipway shall be considered including accesibility provision inside the cofferdam area for men & material.(vii)Prior to finalisation of scope of repair works and methodology of execution, the site shall be inspected by expert team from any IIT and provide vetted inspection reports of below water and above water structures duly recommending the methodology of execution of the repair works. (viii) Cost for carrying out repair, EPC, NDT testing, engagement of experts agencies and diving teams, any other requirements etc. as required for inspections and assessment is deemed to be included in the rates of under mentioned Items No. 1.01 to 1.11 of this Part.(ix)The quoted rates include dewatering inside cofferdam on regular basis as required and execution of work in water/wet condition. No extra payment shall be admissible for execution of works under such conditions. |

| 15 | Notes:- (i) Design mix shall be as per IS-456-2000, max size of aggregate shall not exceed 20mm and the slump shall be 150 to 180mm. (ii) Reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately.(iii) Unit rate shall be deemed to include interalia for preliminary design mix, works test cubes as specified.(iv) Minimum cement content shall be 400 Kg/Cu.m. of concrete for deck slabs, suspended floor beams, slabs and footings, etc., platform using Portland slag cement with minimum slag content of 50% (fifty percent). (v) Admixture shall be added as per manufacturer instructions and approved by the Accepting Officer. The rate for Admixture shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (vi) In case at the time of mix design cement content is increased beyond minimum content given above, no extra payment will be made. (vii) Standard manufactured cover blocks as per IS should be used, Site cast cover blocks shall not be used. (vii) The unit rate/Lump sum price quoted shall be deemed to include this aspect.(viii) Demolition of concrete, its disposal & scraping of reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately. |

| 27 | M&L for water proofing treatment including preparation of surfaces as required for treatment of roofs, balconies, terrace etc., consisting of following sequences of operations on RCC surfaces; (a) Top of roof/terrace slab shall be applied 10mm thick plaster with cement mortar (1:3). (b) Roof shall be cleaned thoroughly by using wire brush [Mechanical / hand brush] to make it free from any loose particle, dirt / dust, etc.(c) After cleaned roof surface, the surface shall be painted with one coat of cold applied bituminous primer @ 0. 50 Lit per sq. m.(d) Atactic polypropylene polymeric modified prefabricated water proofing membrane five layered reinforced with non woven polyester matt of minimum 3mm thick weight not less than 3 Kg/Sqm shall be laid using butane torch application over entire roof surface and on vertical surface up to grooves as applicable with over laps of 100mm in both the directions. The overlaps shall be sealed by flames or as per manufacturer instructions. Water proofing membrane shall be tucked in wall to a depth of 25mm [minimum]. Groove made in wall shall be filled with bitumen mastic filling without any extra cost to Govt. (e) Ponding complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In -Charge.(f)Finally roof shall be finished with a coat of bituminous aluminium paint @ 0.20 Kg/Sqm in two coats. Note:- Quoted rate is deemed to include the cost of all sequences mentioned above including preparation of surfaces. |
