| 24 | Preparation of newly plastered /unplastered surfaces of walls, Column ,beam ,chajja etcand levelling the surfaces/edging the disturbed surfces with thin layer of putty and making the surfaces smooth by using sand paper and applying twocoats of water based Premium acrylic emulsion paint(weather proof treatment) over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqmbwith airless spray machine of paint application for building upto 12.00m high, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Notes for item No. 22 and 23 : Weather proof exterior emulsion paint and primer shall be of same manufacturer.(ii) The defect liability period for the efficieny of the weather proof paint for 5 years during the guarantee period andcontractor shall furnish a guarantee certificate from approved make in favour of Garrison Engineer for the same peroid.The contractor shall obtain similar guarantee from the specialist firm engaged by him for the purpose to be given byafter completion of Smart periodical work .(iii) An amount equal to 5.0% worked out on the cost of weather proof paint and Oil bound distemperat contract rates towards guarantee shall be retained from the FinalBillas specified in P. S, Cluase No.8.10 at serial page no 97 of CA.(iv) All safety measures for the safety of workers shall be ensured by contractor before execution of work. Insurance of workers shall be got done by contractor before execution of the work and the cost for the same shall be deemed to be included in rate quoted by contractor. |
