Repairing, Renovation And Modification Work Of Fopd Building At Csir-Cgcri, Kolkata.- 1 Dismantling aluminium/ Gypsum partitions, doors, windows, fixed glazing and false ceiling including disposal of unserviceable material and stacking of serviceable material with in 50 meters lead as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 2 Providing and fixing aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators andpartitionswithextrudedbuiltupstandardtubularsections/ appropriateZsectionsandothersectionsofapprovedmake conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / paneling, C.P. brass / stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge. (Glazing, paneling and dash fastenersto be paid for separately) : For shutters of doors, windows & ventilators including providing and fixing hinges/ pivots and making provision for fixing of fittings wherever required including the cost of EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket required (Fittings shall be paid for separately) 3 Anodised aluminium (anodised transparent ordyedtorequiredshadeaccordingto IS: 1868, Minimum anodic coating of grade AC 15) 4 Providing and fixing glazing in aluminium door, window, ventilator shutters and partitions etc. with EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket etc. complete as per the architectural drawings and the directions of engineer-in-charge . (Cost of aluminium snap beading shall be paid in basic item): 5 With float glass panes of 4.0 mm thickness (weight not less than 10kg/sqm) 6 Providing and fixing aluminium handles, ISI marked, anodised (anodic coating not less than grade AC 10 as per IS : 1868) transparent or dyed to required colour or shade, with necessary screws etc. complete : 7 125 mm 8 Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material from slabs, beams, columns etc. with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type or of approved make including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concretesurfaceandreinforcementwithwirebrushesetc.and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge 9 25 mm average thickness 10 Cleaning of reinforcement from rust from the reinforcing bars to give it a total rust free steel surface by using alkaline chemical rust remover of approved make with paint brush and removing loose particles after 24 hours of its application with wire brush and thoroughly washing with water and allowing it to dry, all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. 11 Bars upto 12 mm diameter 12 Providing, mixing and applying bonding coat of approved adhesive on chipped portion of RCC as perspecifications and direction of Engineer-In-charge complete in all respect. 13 Epoxy bonding adhesive having coverage 2.20 sqm/kg of approved make 14 Reinforced cement concrete work in beams, suspended floors, roofs having slope up to 15° landings, balconies, shelves, chajjas, lintels, bands, plain window sills, staircases and spiral stair cases above plinth level up to floor five level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishingandreinforcementwith1:1.5:3(1cement:1.5coarse sand(zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources). 15 Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq.meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. 16 With cement mortar 1:4 (1cement: 4 fine sand) 17 15 mm cement plaster on rough side of single or half brick wall of mix: 18 1:6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand) 19 Removing dry or oil bound distemper, water proofing cement paint and the like by scrapping, sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete. 20 Providing and applying plaster of paris putty of 2 mm thickness over plastered surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete. 21 Distempering with 1st quality acrylic distemper (ready mixed) having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 gram/ litre, of approved brand and manufacturer, including applying additional coats wherever required to achieve even shade and colour. 22 Old work (one or more coats) 23 Distempering with 1st quality acrylic distemper (ready mixed) having VOC content less than 50 gram/litre, of approved manufacturer and of requiredshadeandcolour all complete to achieve even shade and colour: 24 New work (two or more coats) over and including water thinnable priming coat with cement primer having VOC content less than 50gram/litre 25 Paintingwithsyntheticenamelpaintofapprovedbrandand manufacture to give an even shade : 26 Two or more coats on new work 27 Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade : 28 New work (Two or more coat applied @ 1.67 ltr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/10 sqm) 29 Stitching crack in brick wall by carefully cutting out face brick 125 mm. deep into the wall, cleaning the gap and filling up the same with precast cement concrete block carefully set in cement mortar (1:3) including mending good damages and finishing the surface to match with adjacent areas complete as per direction.With reinforced cement concrete blocks (1:1½:3) with stone chips and nominal reinforcement. a) Block size 250 x 125 x 75 mm. 30 Wall panelling / partition with Melamine faced 3 layered flat pressed wood particle board of approved make and brand as per direction of Engineer - in -Charge of requisite grade bonded with phenol formaldehyde synthetic resin conforming to IS: 848 - 1974 (excluding the cost of supporting frame work and teak wood battens / lipping) Both side decorative laminate, Exterior Grade 9mm thick 31 Priming one coat on timber or plastered surface with synthetic oil bound primer of approved quality including smoothening surfaces by sand papering etc. 32 Supplying, fitting and fixing of false ceiling framework with powder coated exposed G.I. grid suspension system (E-Grid T 2430/1510 or equivalent load carrying capacity with mid span deflection not exceeding 1/360 span with hanger spacing of 1200mm c/c ) consisting of Main Runner 3600 mm long, Cross Tee 1200 mm / 600 mm long and Wall Angle. The Wall Angle shall be fixed on PVC Dash Fasteners on the perimeter of the wall by steel screws with distance 300mm c/c. The Main Runners to be placed @ 1200 mm. The Cross Tee 1200mm will be inserted in the pre-cut slots of Main Runner at regular interval of 600 mm to form a modular grid of 1200mm X 600mm. Additional Cross Tees of 600 mm shall be placed perpendicular to the Cross Tee 1200 mm long to finally form a grid of 600 mm X 600 mm. Grid of module size 600 mm X 600 mm shall be supported by 6mm dia G.I. wire from purlins / soffit. all complete as per drawing & directions of Engineer-in-charge. 33 Supplying ,fitting & fixing Eco-friendly, Water Resistance and Incombustable Calcium Silicate board/tiles (Density >900 Kg per Cu.M.) of approved design and brand placed in the grid module to form a false ceiling all complete as per drawing & direction of Engineer - in- Charge. False ceiling with 6mm thick square edged Calcium Silicate tiles (size 595mm X 595mm) 34 Supplying Godrej mortice lock chromium plated with keys 6 levers including fitting & fixing complete.
