The installations are to be done both at Thermal Plant & Fire Station in FACT-CD. The vendor shall provide an in-built 50ms long mild audible beep for local indication of healthiness of RF communication link from Siren at Thermal Plant to Fire Station to help the Fire Crew to identify if the RF link fails for some reason. |

| 6 | Installation of siren: The scope of work includes installation of siren above the roof slab, providing suitable stand, fixing the stand above the roof by using standard concrete mixer (footings), painting of fabricated stand, installation of siren above the stand, etc. Fabrication and footing details are follows : Height of stand-1Mtr, bottom leg span of stand. >1mtr, top leg span 0.5mtr( length of sides), size of MS equal angle 75mm,5mmthk, epoxy painting 3 coat including primer coat, size of concrete footing 1 x 1 x 0.15M . Suitable hood shall be provided for the siren with non- corrosive materials. All materials including MS angles, Anchoring bolt, cement, sand, 8mm bars etc. are under the scope of contractor. |
| 7 | Installation of control panel and starter panel:Scope of work includes Laying, combined clamping of power cable of size 1C and 4C, upto16 sq. mm. The scope of work includes laying of cables through walls/ risers / existing cable trays, dressing and clamping the cable at regular intervals with Aluminium clamps/GI saddles, not exceeding 400 mm, drilling holes, providing name tags, minor civil work etc. All materials required for clamping and termination such as clamps, bolts, nuts, washers, cable tags, etc shall be supplied by the contractor. |
| 8 | Inter connection, termination, testing and commissioning of siren, control panel and starter panel: The scope includes cable glanding, termination of incoming and outgoing cables, interconnections between starter and controller unit, earthing, testing, commissioning and hand over of the entire system. |
