The panels filled vertically and tie bar at two places by inserting horizontally 6 mm galvanised M.S. rod and fastened with nuts and washers, complete as per manufacturer’s specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge. 29 Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required. 30 In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works. 31 Providing and laying Ceramic glazed floor tiles of size 300x300 mm(thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) of 1st quality conforming to IS : 15622 of approved make in colours such as White, Ivory, Grey, Fume Red Brown, laid on 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 Cement :4 Coarse sand), jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg/sqm including pointing the joints with white cement and matching pigment etc.,., complete. 32 Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade : 33 Two or more coats on new work. 34 Distempering with 1st quality acrylic distemper, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 grams/ litre, of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required, to achieve even shade and colour. 35 One coat. 36 Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade : 37 One or more coats on old work. 38 Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq. meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground , all complete as per directions of Engineer-In-Charge. 39 With cement mortar 1:4 (1cement: 4 coarse sand). 40 Renewing glass panes, with putty and nails wherever necessary including racking out the old putty: 41 Float glass panes of nominal thickness 4 mm (weight not less than 10kg/sqm). 42 Cleaning of terrace/loft water storage tank (inside surface area) upto 2000 litre capacity at all heights with coconut brushes, duster etc., removal of silt, rubbish from the tank and cleaning the tank with fresh water disinfecting with bleaching powder @ 0.5gm per litre capacity of tank, including marking the date of cleaning on the side of tank body with the help of stencil and paint and disposing of malba, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (The old date already written on tank should be removed with paint remover or black paint and if date is not written with the stencil or old date is not removed deduction will be made @ Rs. 0.10 per litre if during cleaning any GI fittings or ball cock is damaged that is to be repaired by contractor at his own cost and nothing extra will be paid on this account) 43 Cleaning of under ground sump, Over Head R.C.C. Tank (independent staging) including disposal of slit and rubbish, all as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. The cleaning shall consist following operations:- (i) Tank shall be emptied of water by pumping & bottom shall be cleaned of slit and other deposits. (ii) Entire surface area of the sump shall then scrubbed thoroughly with wire brush etc. and pressure washed with water. (iii) Chlorination of RCC internal surface by liquid chlorine.
