| 317 | Manning and operation of central Air Conditioning plant,HVAC system and DG set commissioned under project work by providing 1No. Operator for 3 shifts (round the clock) [0600 to 1400hrs, 1400 to 2200hrs and 2200 to 0600hrs] for all days including Sundays and holidays complete all as specified and as directed Notes: (a) The Contractor shall employ Refrigeration mechanic having minimum ITI qualification from a Govt. recognised institute with adequate knowledge & minimum 2 years experience in maint/operation of AC plants and installations.The operator must be competent to carry out the minor maint all as directed(b) Contractor shall pay the wages to his employee through e-payment i.e Adhaar linked bank accounts (credited to bank account). Engineer-in-charge shall ensure that e-payment made to employee and their wages shall not be less than minimum wages fixed by state Govt. or Central Govt whichever is more. Monthly e-banking statement shall be furnished by the contractor to the Engr-in-charge and the same shall be kept in record duly verified.(c) It is the responsibility of contractor to deposit the employees provident fund (EPF) to the concerned authority as per the prevaling scales as laid down by Ministry of labour for all operator/helper (as appliable) and necessary proof to this regard shall be submitted to the Engineer-in-charge for claiming disbursement of RAR verification, and record.The quoted rates shall be deemed to be included of above provisions. In case contractor fails to produce the proof of EPF, the same shall be recovered from his dues as per the prevailing scale plus 15 percent. (d) The Contractor shall maintain all the registers under various labour law rules, 2017 and shall be produced to the Engineer-in-Charge as well as officers detailed by central labour department. |

In the event of non-operational state of installation a penalty of Rs. 20,000 / day shall be levied from dues of contractor and no payment of manning hours will be made for such period(g) The unit rate quoted shall deemed to be included for cost of labour for daily routine maintenance for trouble free functioning of installation.(h) In case of any abnormal noise/ complaint the plant should be put off and same should be brought to the notice of Engr-in-charge.(j) The operator employed by the contractor shall be capable of carrying out minor repair/ maintenance & should have well experience in AC plants, E/M installations, etc. as applicable.(k) The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of cotton waste, cleaning material etc & Contractor will ensure general area cleanliness and upkeep of the installation on daily basis.(l) The rate quoted shall deemed to be inclusive of safety gear & required tools for minor maintenance.In case of failure to provide tools kit & safety kit (spanner sets, hand gloves), a penalty of Rs 3000/- will be recovered and levied(m) The Contractor shall not employ same tradesman continuously for more than 11 months during the Contract period.(n) The contractor shall provide 02 sets of uniforms of approved design and type to operator.In case of failure, a penalty of Rs 2000/- per uniform per month will be levied and recovered from his dues.(o) In case of failure due to absence of operative staff, the contractor shall be liable to pay compensation at twice the cost of a day’s Manning & Operation derived at pro-rata of rate/s |
