S&F in repair of 10mm thick multi-layer polycarbonate sheet with rubber EPDM of section (Domeset) and fixing the sheet between male and female aluminium section with self-tapping screws and rubber washer in Spherical Dome of building to make it leak proof including dismantling of old poly carbonate sheet of any thickness in any position of dome roof covering or in other similar work complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.Note:- (i). Unit rates for this item shall be deemed to be inclusive of wastage, cutting / moulding of sheet, working on dome above the 30m height from floor with necessary scaffolding, floor safety items, safety measures as per best Engineering Practices for work to be carried out.(ii). Aluminium dome section (male and female) shall be measured and paid separately.

S&F anodised aluminium frames (Minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron) work doors, dome sections and partitions (fixed partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/appropriate Z sections and other sections of (Dome) of approved make confirming to IS 733 and IS 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size including necessary filling upon the gaps of junctions i e. at top and bottom and sides with required dia and size, including necessary filing ups the gaps of junctions i e, top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket etc. aluminium sections shall be smooth rust free, straight, metred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, aluminium snap beading for glazing, panelling CP brass / stainless steel screws complete including dismantling of existing Dome frame sections, partitions and removal from work site complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

M&L for applying on joints of aluminium and polycarbonate sheet with and including following provisions, complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge: - (a) The polycarbonate sheet must be grinded adequately to create mechanical key for the application of Dr Fixit Wonderproof 100. The metal and polycarbonate sheets should be made free from dust, oil, sealant or any loose particles etc.(b) Premix the Dr. Fixit Wonderproof 100 components A and B with an electric double paddle mixer stirrer for 2-3 minutes at a slow speed. Ensure complete mixing throughout the maternal especially along the sides and bottom of the pail, until a uniform consistency is achieved(c) Providing and applying the first coat of Dr. Fixit Wonderproof 100 at a rate of 0.45-0.50 Kg/Sqm

(d) Place a 200-225 GSM raw fibre mesh between the first and second coats while the first coat is still wet condition. Allow the first coat to dry for 3-4 hours.(e) Apply the second coats of Wonderproof 100 at a rate of 0.45-0.50 Kg/Sqm. Allow the coat to air cure for a minimum of 3-4 hours after application(f) Apply the third coats of Wonderproof 100 at a rate of 0.45-0.50 Kg/Sqm Allow the coat to air cure for a minimum of 3-4 hours after application(g) Ensure that no void surface is left untreated or uncoated. The coating should have a total dry film thickness of 900-1000 microns with system coverage in three undiluted coats at a rate of 1.40 1.50 Kg/Sqm in total. The total width of treatment should be 300mm on vertical and horizontal aluminium joints,

(h) The material has followed technical properties: Attains a Tensile Strength with chopped mesh N/mm2 220 as per ASTM D 2370, Elongation at break z 200% as per ASTM D 2370, Crack bridging ability up to 3 mm, Shore-A 65 as per ASTM D2240, Tear Resistance with Fiber N/mm 40 as per ASTM D 624.Note:- (i). Unit rates for this item shall be deemed to be inclusive of the cost of wastage, cutting / moulding of sheet, working on dome above the 30m height from floor with necessary scaffolding, floor safety items. safety measures as per best Engineering Practices for work to be carried out.(ii). After completion of work, the contractor has to check the water tightness test for 15 days to ensure the treatment is leaked proof.

(iii). A MOU between the contractor and skilled project water prooffer (Applicator) as Authorised by the manufacture has to be submitted by the contractor prior to start the work and has to be carried out in supervision of Technical / Execution Engineer of the manufacture.(iv). The warranty of above water proofing treatment shall be 10 years from the date of Completion and 5% of total cost of water proofing treatment shall be kept reserve on this account.
