| 1 | Notes :-1) Bidder shall provide hard barricading as per given specification without any extra cost.Providing & erecting high temporary barricading at site made of min 40X40X6mm angle iron or 50X50X3mm hollow MS tube posts/ horizontal members/bracings covered with 1.63 mm thick MM sheet. The sheet shall be fixed with 30x5 mm MS flat by suitable welding/riveting. Suitable arrangement shall be made to fix the barricading to avoid from overturning by providing 250mm long expansion fasteners at both ends. The work shall be executed as per drawings /directions of EIC which includes writing & painting, glow lamps, reflective signs as directed by EIC. The barricading provided shall be retained in position at site continuously including shifting of barricading as many times as required during the execution of the entire work. The barricading provided shall remain to be the property of the contractor on the completion of work.2.) All safety & security regulations shall be followed strictly as per specifications& conditions of contract. 3.) Contractor has to make his own arrangements for regulating the work by providing sign boards for Diversion, Men at Work. Danger, Work in progress, Diversions/ Change of Directions etc. at his own cost during exectutuion of work as directed by the Department.4) Removal of vegetation, grass shall be part of the earthwork and no extra payment will be made for the same.5) Rolling of earthwork wherever required shall be carried out using 8 tone vibratory roller or as directed by EIC at no extra cost.6) In structural steel work, bolts and welding will not be measured for the payment and shall be included in the quoted rate. Only, the weight of steel sections used as per relavant IS codes shall be considered for payment. Wastage will not be measured. 7) Proctor Density Test and Field Dry Density Test shall be carried out for flooring and road works for subgrade and GSB at no extra cost. Contractor shall ensure the Field Dry Density is as per the requirements of relevant IS/IRC/Morth Specifications.8) Torquing machine gun shall be used for torquing of bolts.9) Required scaffolding, number of Boom lifters/scissor lifters shall be deployed for working at heights at no extra cost.10) Contractor shall employ a licensed electrician to carryout electrical connections /terminations, measurement of earth pit resistance, insulation resistance of their installation and intimating the same to the department & also earthing shall be ensured throught existance of power supply.11) Intimation shall be given after completion of work, for disconnection of supply and safe isolation of DB with last energy meter reading. |

| 54 | Providing and fixing of Hollow metal fire rated doors as per IS 3614 part-1 & part-2 for stability and integrity. Pressed Galvanized steel confirming to IS 277 with the following specification. Recommended fire door shall have doors tested at CBRI or ARAI for maximum rating of 2hrs with vision panel. Test certificates should be available for vision lites /panels as part of the fire door assembly. Independent glass test certificates will not be accepted. Manufacturer test certificate shall cover doors both single and double leaf and all doors supplied should be within the tested specimen, deviation in specification and sheet thickness other than what is mentioned in the test certificates are not allowed. Proper label confirming the type of door and the hourly rating is mandatory. Approved manufacturer Shakti Hormann or approved equivalent. Door frame shall be double rebate profile of size 125 x 60 mm made out of 1.20mm minimum thick galvanized steel sheet. Frames shall be Mitered and field assembled with self tabs. All provision should be mortised, drilled and tapped for receiving appropriate hardware. Rubber door silencers should be provided on the striking jamb. Frames should be provided with back plate bracket and anchor fasteners for installation on a finished plastered masonry wall/RCC column opening. Once frame installed should be grouted with cement & sand slurry necessary for fire doors on the clear masonry/RCC column opening. Door leaf shall be 46mm thick fully flush double skin door with or without vision lite. Door leaf shall be manufactured from 0.8mm minimum thick galvanised steel sheet. The internal construction of the door should be rigid reinforcement pads for receiving appropriate hardware. The infill material shall be resin bonded honeycomb core. All doors shall be factory prepped for receiving appropriate hardware and provided with necessary reinforcement for hinges, locks, and door closers. The edges should be interlocked with a bending radius of 1.4mm. For pair of doors astragals has to be provided on the meeting stile for both active and inactive leaf. Vision lite wherever applicable should be provided as per manufacturers recommendation with a beading and screws from inside. The glass should be 6mm clear borosilicate fire rated glass of size 20mmX300mm of relavant rating of the door. All doors and frames shall be finished with powder coating of minimum 50 micron thickness of approved colour. The door leaf and frame shall have passed minimum 250 hours of salt spray test. Rate should include supply and installation of door and hardware set as mentioned in the door and hardware schedule.
