Tender For Repair To Leakage And Seepage In Md Accommodation Along With Sunken Chajjas Repair Under Age Br Ii Of Ge South Pune; 1 M & Lfor water proofing treatment to sunken slab, walls,etc. shall be carried out as specified below and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge:-(a) Dismantling & remove the existing lean concrete completely and clean the sunken portion of toilet / Baths / WCs / Kitchen thoroughly remove laitance, dirt, dust etc.(b) Form angle fillet of size 40 mm x 40 mm along the junction of wall and floor by using polymer modified mortar (“ Dr fixit” Pidicrete URP” or equivalent).(c) Sanitary pipes entering through walls and floor shall be sealed with “Dr Fixit Bathseal Tape” and the gaps to be grouted with non-shrink cementitous grout “Dr Fixit Bathseal Grout” or equivalent. Nahani traps etc to be fitted securely and the gaps around it to be grouted in the same manner.(d) Apply one coat of a Bitumen-modified polymer coating “Dr Fixit Bathseal Plus” or equivalent on all angle fillets by brush and cover it with 100mm open woven mesh when it is still wet and applying second coat of the same coating on the angle fillets and allow it to dry completely. 2 (e) In the remaining area, in dry substrate condition brush apply first coat of the same coating and further apply second coat when first is dry. Extend the coating upto150mm above the FFI. Above FFI, another cementitious waterproofing waterproof coating “Dr Fixit Pidifin 2 K” or equivalent to be further applied right upto 2.1 m to waterproof the shower area also, if it is a bathroom or bath cubicles of a sanitary annex and apply second coat after 6-8 hoours and allow to dry completely.(f) After 2 to 3 days, sunken portion must be overlaid with a 50 mm thick concrete screed M 15 type B0 mixed with integral WPC (Liquid) laid to stope 1:60 towards outer face of wall. Provide 40 mm OD UPVC pipe at the lowest point with 300 mm projection beyond the outer face of the wall. Then fill up the sunken portion with lean concrete 1:5:10 type E2.(g) After completing plumbing work in the toilet/WC/Bath/Kitchen, floor, tiling work (floor and dado) to be carried out by using suitable Tile Adhesives and ready to make tile grouts of approved makes such as Dr Fixit, FOSROC SIKA, MC BUCHEMIE, ROFF, etc. Note:- Lean concrete 1:5:10 type E-2 shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ. 3 M&L for coloured glazed ceramic designed tiles in vertical surface 600x300x7mm thick set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or colour cement to match laid over and including 15mm thick (Average thickness) backing coat in CM 1:4 to maintain true plumb & repair / replacement of existing rusted / leekage from GI pipe with old or new layout as provided with and including triangular filleting in CM 1:4 on top edges including dismantling of old unserviceable tiles of any description including taking down of backing coat any type and removing of debries and demolished materials and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed. 4 M&L for coloured glazed ceramic designed tiles in vertical surface 300x200x7mm thick set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or colour cement to match laid over and including 15mm thick (Average thickness) backing coat in CM 1:4 to maintain true plumb & repair / replacement of existing rusted / leekage from GI pipe with old or new layout as provided with and including triangular filleting in CM 1:4 on top edges including dismantling of old unserviceable for non skid ceramic colored tiles 7 to 8mm thick (square / rectangular), area of each tile exceeding 0.06 Sqm but not exceeding 0.11 Sqm as in floor etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry & pointed in white or coloured cement to match laid over and including 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6, including dismantling of floor, hearthincluding screed bed and removing of debries and dismantled (b) The surfaces shall be painted with hot bitumen grade 30/40 confirming to IS-73 @1.20 Kg/Sqm over a coat of bituminous primer @ 0.30 Litre/Sqm, conforming to IS-3384. (c) Supply & laying APP polymer modified approved membrane, non woven, polyster matt, weighing not less than 3.5 Kg/Sqm and 3mm thick with laps and overlaps 10 cm &b 15 cm as directed and joints sealed and applied complete by using butane torch application method complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge and carrying out test by flooding water for 24 hrs for leakage and seepage and rectifying the same to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge.
