Tender For Repairs To Wear And Tear Of Roof Tops During Monsoon At Inhs Asvini; 1 M&L for brushing/cleaning of existing concrete surface to make the surface clean and free from dust, loose particles, etc., and applying two coats of two-component acrylic polymer modified cementitious waterproofing coating of approved make over a coat of waterproofing primer on concrete flat roofs to arrest seepage/leakage with coverage area of 1.00-1.10 sqm/litreto achieve DFT 450-500 microns complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.Application method:- (i) First surface must be cleaned with water and loose particles to be removed.(ii) All the cracks to be filled with Hybrid Sealant.(iii) On the prepared surface, One Self priming coat with 50% dilution & two undiluted coats to be applied with each coat being perpendicular to previous coat.(iv) Allow each coat to dry for 4 hours before application of next coat.(v) Allow the final system to cure for 7 days.Note :- (a)The Contractor will provide all material to site before applying.(b)The work shall be executed directly by company or their authorized applicator. Certificate to this effect shall be taken by contractor from company or their authorised applicator and shall be submitted to Engineer-in-charge.(c) Quoted rate shall be inclusive of material all labours tools and plants scaffolding and working upto any height. (d) Adoption of necessary safety arrangement like safety belts. ropes. helmets, netting etc. which are required for safety of working at any height shall be mandatary and deemed to be inclusive on quoted rates. 2 Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for and removing debris out side MD land. Note: The place of disposal shall be find out by the contractor. 3 M & L PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate as in roof and roof kerbs, surface finished even and smooth to lay the APP membraine etc.,with mixing of bonding agent 5% of weight of cementof approved make complete all as directed. 4 Supply only bonding agent polymer of make Dr. Fixit pidicrete URP or equivalent in M/s STP, Fosroc as approved by Engineer in charge. 5 M&L for wire brushing and cleaning top surface of tiles, lime terracing or cement concrete, including flashing and junctions of parapets, etc, and surface painting, with layer of blown grade bitumen of any penetration applied hot @1.70kg/sqm, blinded with grit or pea size gravel @ 0.006 cum per sqm, and lightly tampered (area of flashings, etc, shall be added to the roof area) and apply APP based polymeric membrane minimum weighing 3kg/sqm and minimum 3mm thick reinforced with polyster non wove fabric (wt not less than 150 gms/sqm) land on primed surface by forced application complete all as specified . 6 Dismantling plain or corrugated steel/polycarbonate sheeting, any gauge, thickness, including nanital or similar pattern in roof coverings complete all as specified and directed. 7 S&F for pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50 mm thick of an colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws as specified. 8 S&F for pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based plain steel sheet 0.50 mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws as specified. 9 Taking down cement plaster of any description and in any position including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc and removal of debris outside MD land complete all as specified and directed. 10 M&L for rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfacesin CM (1:4) complete all as specifed and directed by Engr-in-charge. 11 M&L preparation of new plastered surface and applying two coats of Distempering with 1st quality acrylic distemper (ready mixed) having VOC content less than 50 gms/litre, of approved manufacturer, of required shade and colour complete, as per manufacturers specification. 12 Dismantling of Mangalore pattern roof tiles including ridge tiles in roofing all as directed 13 Dismantling of battens for tiles exc 15cm , shingles etc of any size including tilting fillets,spaced all as directed. 14 Dismantling of wooden boarding any description, fixed in any position with nails. 15 M& L roof tiles, manglore pattern, interlocking at side joints laid dry all as specified and directed. 16 M&L for Ridge or hip tiles to suit manglore pattern of roofing tiles, bedded and jointed in CM 1:6all as specified. 17 M&L 2nd class harwood clean sawn battens at 20cm centres in sectional area exc 5 Sqcm but n.exc 15 Sqcm all as specified 18 S & F Second class soft wood boarding planed one side 15mm thick with edges tngue and grooved or rebated all as specified. 19 M&L for laying APP based polymeric membrane minimum weighing 3kg/sqm and minimum 3mm thick reinforced with polyster non wove fabric (wt not less than 150 gms/sqm) land on primed surface by forced application above the boarding of roof to arrest leakage including removal of previous APP complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. 20 M&L for Drilling and fixing Rohibb Teflon nozzles in RCC members, including drilling holes of 12mm dia, 50 to 100mm deep holes in structural members at the intervals of 75 cm center to center at 45 degree in staggered manner or as directed by Engr-incharge in RCC structural element. Work shall be carried out as under :-(i) Cleaning of holes. Clean the holes by air blower prior to fixing nozzles.(ii) Fixing of nozzles. Insert 12mm dia. Rohibb Teflon nozzles in cleaned holes.External end of nozzles to be machine to receive outlet of grouting gun.Fix it inside the holes by applying thixotropic epoxy putty to ensure complete sealing. Cure the system for min.12 hrs.(iii) Cutting of nozzles. Cut the nozzles by chisel after completion of grouting without damaging structural elements. 21 M&L for Injecting of site cement slurry grout, in the ratio 1:2 (1- Cement, 2-water) including super plsticizer of approved make. Mixing shall be done by mechanical mixer continuously stirring mechanically to keep cement particles in suspension. Injection of approved/specified grout by means of pump at a pressure of 0.5 Kg/cm2 etc complete till the grout mix flows out from the nozzle indicating complete filling of grout in the holes drilled. 22 S&F plain Aluminium sheeting 0.71mm thick Alloy 31000 H4 in as in crumple joints all including necessary fixing arrangements such as screws, clamps at a height upto 30 mtrs and also including scaffolding and all safety arrangements including taking down the old one complete all as specified and directed. 23 Supply and applying water proofing wall paint with features of (anticarbonation, flexibilty, toughness,long lasting, Elastometric and UV/microbial resistance) on plastered surfaces as per company instructions written on pack complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- The work can be carried out upto 30mtr of building so quoted rate included with necessary safety arrangements, scaffolding etc. 24 S&F fixing 100mm cast iron rain water pipes with cement joints with ears including taking down old one with fittings complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. 25 S&F fixing 150mm cast iron rain water pipes with cement joints with ears including taking down old one with fittings complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. 26 Jointing only 100mm bore cast iron pipes and fittings or AC pipes and fittings, in repairs, with cement joint complete all as specified and directed. 27 Jointing only 75mm bore cast iron pipes and fittings or AC pipes and fittings, in repairs, with cement joint complete all as specified and directed. 28 S&F heat resistant terrace tiles (300mm x 300mm x 20mm) with SRI (solar refractive index)> 78, solar reflection > 0.70 and initial emittance > 0.75 on waterproof and sloped surface of terrace, laid on 20mm thick cement sand mortar in the ration of 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) and grouting the joints with mix of white cement & marble powder in ratio of 1:1, including rubbing and polishing of the surface of the surface upto 3 cuts complete, including providing skirting upto 150mm height along the parapet walls in the same manner complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
