Tender For Annual Repair And Maintenance Of To Buildings In Academic Area At Iit Delhi During The Year 2025-26.Sub Head: - Cleaning Of Water Tank And Replacing Of Damage Water Tank In Different Location In Academic Area At Iit Delhi.; 1 Cleaning of terrace/loft water storage tank (inside surface area) upto 2000 litre capacity at all heights with coconut brushes, duster etc., removal of silt, rubbish from the tank and cleaning the tank with fresh water disinfecting with bleaching powder @ 0.5gm per litre capacity of tank including marking the date of cleaning on the side of tank body with the help of stencil and paint and disposing of malba all complete as per direction of Engineer- in-Charge. (The old date already written on tank should be removed with paint remover or black paint and if date is not written with the stencil or old date is not removed deduction will be made @ Rs. 0.10 per litre) (if during cleaning any GI fittings or ball cock is damaged that is to be repaired by contractor at his own cost and nothing extra will be paid on this account) 2 Disconnecting damaged overhead/terrace PVC water storage tankof any size from water supply line and removing from the terrace including shifting at ground level as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. 3 Providing and fixing Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) pipes, having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply including all CPVC plain & brass threaded fittings This includes jointing of pipes & fittings with one step CPVC solvent cement, trenching, refilling & testing of joints complete as per direction of Engineer in Charge. External work 4 20 mm nominal dia Pipes 5 25 mm nominal dia Pipes 6 Providing and fixing G.I. pipes complete with G.I. fittings and clamps, including cutting and making good the walls etc.Internal work - Exposed on wall 7 15 mm dia nominal bore 8 20 mm dia nominal bore 9 25 mm dia nominal bore 10 Making connection of G.I. distribution branch with G.I. main of following sizes by providing and fixing tee, including cutting and threading the pipe etc. complete : 11 25 to 40 mm nominal bore 12 Providing and fixing gun metal gate valve with C.I. wheel of approved quality (screwed end) : 13 32 mm nominal bore. 14 Providing and placing on terrace (at all floor levels) polyethylene water storagetank,IS : 12701marked,withcoverandsuitablelocking arrangement and making necessary holes for inlet, outlet and overflow pipes but without fittings and the base support for tank. 15 Providing and fixing PTMT Ball cock of approved quality, colour and make complete with Epoxy coated aluminium rod with L.P./ H.P.H.D. plastic ball. 16 20 mm nominal bore, 120 mm long, weighing not less than 198 gms 17 25 mm nominal bore, 152 mm long, weighing not less than 440 gms 18 Cleaning of terrace/loft water storage tank (inside surface area) from above 2,000 liter upto 50,000 litrecapacity at all heights with coconut brushes, duster etc., removal of silt, rubbish from the tank and cleaning the tank with fresh water disinfecting with bleaching powder @ 0.5gm per litre capacity of tank including marking the date of cleaning on the side of tank body with the help of stencil and paint and disposing of malba all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
