Specification for fine and coarse aggregate shall confirm to IS:383 (latest revision)2) In view of limit on water-cement ratio for durability requirements in design mix concrete, concrete admixtures (Carboxylate based superplasticizers of makes for guidance to bidders as per annexure B of section VII) can be used after taking prior approval of Engineer-in-Charge and the rates quoted for concrete items shall be inclusive of the cost of admixtures, Design mix, trial mixes, testing (at site & at approved labs), etc. complete. 3) Thecontractor shall set up automatic batching plant/sufficient number of self loading mobile concrete mixers inside the project area for the production of concrete.4) Contractor may also be allowed to procure concrete from prior approved RMC plants on prior approval of the BARC subject to maintain required slump at site during pouring.To that extent suitable Mix Design should be carried out with required retention period. 5) Manufacturer\"s Test certificate of cement which is procured fromdealer/company is to be submitted for all cement related works by the contractor.6) \"Substrcture\" refers to the part of structure upto top level of ground floor grade slaband\"Superstructure\"refers to the part of structure above the top of the ground floor grade slab. |
| 2 | 7) The Scope of works which are not included in any specific items but indicated in the document \"General Scope of all works\" shall be within the scope of overall contract works. The cost of work/item/material indicated in this document shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates of all individual items. 8) The rate quoted for the items by the bidder shall include the makes for guidance to bidders as per Annexure B of Section VII of tender document.
