| 1 | The following security regulation shall also be followed strictly while movement of labourers/ workers/ contractor\"s personnel etc. |
| 2 | (a) The contractor shallissue I-Cards to his workers deployed on regular basis. |
| 3 | (b) The supervisor of contractor having photo pass shall bring daily wages workers/ casual workers inside premises for work. |
| 4 | (c) The contractor personnel including daily wage workers shall be in uniform with proper identification in order to ease in identification of such persons at unauthorised places. |
| 5 | (d) The daily wage workers/ casual workers employed by the contractor must wear florescence visi wear without fail during their presence inside premises. |
| 6 | The work has to be carried out with least disturbance to occupants ofnearby residential buildings & Office building. The demolition work shall be carried out without any inconvenience and nuisance to occupants of adjacent buildings. |
| 7 | The ambient noise level shall be maintained within permissible limit during demolition activities in accordance with BMC/MoEF guidelines etc., as applicable. |
| 8 | Contractor has to make his own arrangement for water & Electricity required for work at his own cost. |
| 9 | Before taking up demolition of building, the agency shall ensure proper disconnection of electricity, water supply and sanitary connections. |
| 10 | The demoliton work shall be carried out with adequate machinery, equipments, manpower etc. The agency shall provide adequate propping, barricading and other safety measures at his own cost for safe guarding the adjoining structures, property, human lives. The agency shall follow all safety requirements & guidelines laid down by local authority, IS codes (IS 4130:2024, IS 13416, IS 15883 - Part 5, etc.) and national building codes for dismatling & demolition work. |
| 11 | Regarding disposal of Construction waste from site of work, the agency has to abide by the guidelines of Construction and Demolition (C&D) waste management plan as approved by BMC and any other regulations issued by statutory authorities in the matter from time to time and Deparment is not responsible in any way in this regard. |
| 12 | Contractor shall strictly follow the statutory rules and regulations of the Construction and Demolition Debris Management Plan of BMC for project site. |
| 13 | Demolition debris shall be disposed from site at approved disposal ground of BMC including cost of necessary statutory charges, as applicable. |
| 14 | Contractor shall submit acknowledgement of challan for each trip for unloading of Construction and Demolition waste material as per the standard format. |
| 15 | Contractor shall be responsible and liable for penalty, if any, as prescribed by the Local Authority in case of non-fulfilment of the procedure laid down in the Construction and Demolition Debris Management Plan. |
| 16 | Contractor shall collect, stack, lower and shift the entire debris generated out of this work and disposed off to the BMC approved dump yard field. All related expenditure to be taken into consideration in existing items and no extra charges for debris removal shall be payable on this account. |
| 17 | The approach road should be kept clean & free from obstructions for smooth functioning of existing traffic and damages caused any to be made good without any extra cost to the Dept. |
| 18 | While transporting materials from site, and disposal of surplus materials, the spilled over materials / earth / debris etc. on the road should be got cleaned by the contractors after the day\"s work is over. |
| 19 | The debris shall be transported using covering material to avoid spreading of dust, sand and other materials. |
| 20 | The existing trees at the plot should not be cut or damaged. |
| 21 | The agency is responsible for any injury/death to the workmen, animal things or any other damages to the surrounding properties or any type of incidents, theft, loss of material from site. The agency shall be responsible for security of site during work. |
| 22 | The agency shall follow all guidelines and regulations issued in respect of pollution (e.g. Air, Water, Noise etc.) . The agency shall comply all guidelines issued by statutory authorities. No claim will be entrained on this account. |
| 23 | The agency shall provide safety equipment’s such as helmet, safety gloves, safety goggles, safety shoes, safety belts, dust respirator, ear plug, ear muff etc. to all worker’s / supervisor’s / engineer’s during execution of works. |
| 24 | The scrap material will be permitted to be shifted from site only after disposal of debris from site. The agency shall take prior written permission from Engineer-in-Charge before shifting of scrap material from site. |
| 25 | Following general guidelines for prevention & control of dust shall be followed:- |
| 26 | \"Guidelines for Air Pollution Mitigation \" issued by BMC under no. MGC/F/1102, dt. 25.10.2023 shall be followed. |
| 27 | Erection of continuous dust or wind breaking Tin/Metal Sheet of minimum 10 feet height around the periphery of entire site. |
| 28 | Tarpaulin/Green Cloth/Jute Sheet to be used as covering the entire area under demolition structure. Regular Cleaning of Tarpaulin or Jute Sheet to be undertaken. |
| 29 | Avoid on-site crushing & hammering of demolition material. |
| 30 | Water Sprinkling shall be continuously carried out so that the Debris shall remain in wet condition. |
| 31 | Water Fogging should be carried out during the Excavation & Loading & Unloading of material. |
| 32 | Use water jet for grinding and stone/concrete cutting. |
| 33 | C & D waste generated within the premises/ site of work is transported to the designated unloading site strictly as per the BMC approved C & D Waste Management Plan. |
| 34 | Contractor shall compulsory take Contractor’s All Risk (CAR) Insurance Policy in respect of entire scope of work for entire period of contract and copy of the same shall be submitted to the EIC before commencement of the work. The insurance policy shall be taken before commencement of the work and shall be renewed during the construction period till actual completion of work. The charges for issue & renewal of insurance policy shall be borne by Contractor. In event of failure of the Contractor to obtain CAR Insurance Policy, Running Account Payments of the Contractor shall be withheld till such time the same is obtained by the Contractor & submiited to the EIC. In case, CAR Insurance Policy has validity period not matching with contract period (either due to policy start date later than actual date of start of work or policy end date earlier than actual date of completion), then penalty for gap in period shall be levied at one and half times the rate of Insurance Policy premium including GST, to be computed on per day basis. |
| 35 | The workers engaged on the work shall required to be insured as per Government norms at the cost of contractor. |
| 36 | The contractor shall display proper information/cautionary signage boards at site for the safety of the workers and public in general in the surrounding areas. |
| 37 | The quoted rate shall be inclusive of providing and erecting minimum 10 feet high temporary barricading using structural steel (MS Pipes or angle iron frame work etc.) covered with tin / GI sheets, Struts, MS Clamps, Bracing etc. and shall have wicket gate & material gate and including writing and painting direction & instructions, providing glow lamps, reflective signs, marking, flags, caution tape etc. The barricading shall be retained in position at site continuously during the execution of the entire work till its completion. Rate include its maintenance for damages, painting, all incidentals, labour, materials, equipments and works required to execute the job such as earth work, concrete, welding etc. After completion of work, Contractor shall remove and take away the barricading at his own cost on completion of the works with the prior approval of Engineer-in-Charge, the entire work shall be executed as per direction of EIC. |
| 38 | The payment will be made on the Job basis for the entire plot area. The quoted rate shall be including the dismantling of miscellaneous structures situated at plot. Quoted rate shall include the Dismantling / demolishing all the structures situated above natural ground level of plot including all items related toCivil, PH, Electrical, Mechanical & other services works etc complete in all respect. |
| 39 | Rate quoted for all items shall be inclusive of all machinery, tools, plants, scaffolding if any, loading, unloading stacking etc. Disposing off debris by mechanical means, with all leads, lift, loading, unloading, transportation and including obtaining all necessary permission for disposal of debris from the local municipal & other statutory authorities. |
| 40 | Quoted rates shall be inclusive of all Taxes, Levy, Cess, GST etc. |
| 41 | No Labours/ working personnel shall be permitted to stay at working place. |
| 42 | Method of demolition to be used shall be Non-Explosive. |
| 43 | Please refer pre bid minutes of meeting for further modification/ alteration. |
