Tender For Special Repair To Bldg No P-27 Of Mh Ambala Under Ge (South) Ambala Cantt.; 1 Dismantling of brick or terracing tiles of single layers on roofs including cleaning of bricks/tiles and removal of unusable bricks/tiles and removal from site, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 2 Demolition of Mud in roofs, any thickness, including plastering and leeping complete all as specified and as directed. 3 Material and labour for Plain Cement concrete1:2:4 type B-1(using 20mm mechanically graded crushed stone aggregate) as in padding to roof to maintain the required slope and finished the surface even and smooth without using extra cementincluding weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating with and including using necessary formwork for fair finished surface complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 4 Material and labour for APP based polymeric membrane minimum weighing 3kg/sqm and minimum 3mm thick reinforced with polyster non wove fabric (wt. not less than 150 gms/sqm) land on primed surface by forced application, including tack coat of 85/25 of industrial bitumen completed all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 5 Material and labour plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20 mm graded aggregate) in roof kerbs of mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges complete all as specified and directed. 6 Material and labour for 10mm thick plastering in CM 1:3 on concrete roof surfaces with water proofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement and finishing the surface even and fair without using extra cement all as specified and directed.Note :- WPC shall be measured and paid separately. 7 Material and labour for Precast plain cement concrete plain factory made tiles, 22 mm thick of size 250 mm x 250 mm, machine pressed and cut polished and set jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry andfabricated using grey cement & no pigments. over and including 15 mm thick cement mortar (1:3) beddingjoints grouted flush in cement mortar (1:3) mixed with integral liquid water proofing compound over roof surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 8 Taking down cement plaster from brickorconcrete surfaces including raking out joints, hacking keys, scrubbing down with water etc. complete all as specified and as directed. 9 Material and labour for rough cast plastering including 15 mm thick rendering in Cement mortar 1:3 complete as specified in SSR Part I, clause 14.22.(Note : Rough cast finish to be as below :-After applying the under coat of cement mortar 1:3 and while it is still in plastic state the rough cast mixture consisting of crushed stone or fine gravel aggregate (which is generally of size between 6 to 12 mm depending on the texture required) mixed with coarse sand and cement in the ratio of 1: 1: 1 shall be applied and finished even.The mix of cement and sand shall be made slightly wetter than normal for rendering to ensure that larger aggregates are thoroughly covered.( Upto height 15 mtrs), complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 10 Material and labour for rendering 10mm thick on fair face of brick work , concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:6 finished even and smooth without extra cement all as specified and as directed. 11 Material and labour for rendering 15 mm thick on fair face of brick work , concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 finished even and fair without extra cement mixed with WPC @ 2% by wt of cement(as per manufacturer instruction) all as specified and as directed. 12 Supply only, integral water proofing compound, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 13 Material and labour for rendering 10 mm thick on ceiling, chajja etc , in cement mortar 1:3 finished even and smooth without extra cement, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 14 Material and labour for applying two coats of anti fungal weather proof grade exterior acrylic emulsion paint of approved tint @1.80 lit / 10 sqm (undiluted) as per approved manufacturers instruction over prepared and primed surface of external wall. Allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface in subsequent coats of paint complete all as specified and directed. 15 Material and labour for applying waterproof cement based putty @0.80kg (undiluted) per sqm of average thickness 2.50mm in two coats on prepared / newly plastered wall (external/ internal) and ceiling surfaces in following steps- (i) Filling cracks in wall using crack seal compound Asian smart care crack seal or equivalent(ii) Mix the putty @ 0.8 kg/sqm by adding 35 to 40% water by volume or as per approved manufacturers instructions & mix it with electric putty mixer with mixing capacity of min 2.5 kg putty per minute upto 5 to 10 minutes(iii) Apply the first coat of prepared mix with the help of fully automatic airless spray machine of putty application having flow speed of max 6 ltrs per minute with max pressure 3300 PSI with bottom to top configuration and allow 6-8 hrs to dry the putty surface.(iv) Apply the second coat of prepared mix with the help of fully automatic airless spray machine of putty application having flow speed of max 6 ltrs per minute with maximum pressure 3300 PSI with horizontal configuration(v) Allow 6-8 hrs to dry putty surface then prepare the surface by electronic wall sander machine to apply subsequent coats of primer complete all as specified and directed. 16 Material and labour for applying one coat of acrylic water based exterior grade / interior grade primer @ 0.90 litre (undiluted) / 10 sqm diluted with water in 1:1 ratio to be applied with fully automatic airless spray machine of paint application with a flow speed of min 1 lit per minute having a pressure of 3300 PSI on prepared ceiling or internal / external walls surfaces. directed. 83 Material andLabour for preparation of exposed brick wall surface by cleaning the surface by wire brush to remove all dirt/loose materials from the bricks and from the joints between the bricks. Prepared surface should be then washed with diluted HCL acid (dilution ratio of 1:50) for three times in a day for two days. After acid wash surface should be allowed to be air dried for one day, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.NOTE : - Further treatment over the surface so achieved will be carried out only after approved of the same by GE. 84 Supply and fixing of20 mm dia stainless steel D type curtain rod with latto/ brackets etccomplete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 85 Material and labour for effloresence treatment to unplastered wall surface comprising of the following specification including 15 mm thick renderingcomplete all as specified and as directed.(a) Prime the prepared surface with one of the following product mixed with cement in 1:1 ratio as bonding agent : -(i) Pidicrete URP of M/S Pidilite. (ii) Sika Latex of M/S Sika.(iii) Nitobond SBR Latex of M/S FOSROC.(b) Immediately after priming the surface PMM (Polymer Modified Mortar) to be applied “BY HAND” while the prime is tacky. PMM should be prepared by mixing one of the following compounds in Cement Mortar 1:3 as per manufacturer’s instrs: -(i) Pidicrete URP of M/S Pidilite.(ii) Sika Latex of M/S Sika.(iii) Nitobond SBR Latex of M/S FOSROC.(c) PMM surface should be allowed to dry for one day. After that it should painted with two coats of one of the following compound mixed with cement only in ratio of 1 (selected compound) : 1:5 (Cement) : - (i) Pidicrete URP of M/S Pidilite.(ii) Sika Latex of M/S Sika. (iii) Nitobond SBR Latex of M/S FOSROC. (d) Now apply two coats of one of the following compound over the surface. These compounds are to be used as per manufacturer’s instructions: -(i) Pidifin 2K of M/S Pidilite (ii) Brush Coat of M/S Sika.(iii) Brush Bond of M/S FOSROC. (ii) Every stage of work will be approved by GE, then only next layer will be executed by contractor.
