Tender For Repair And Maintenance Of Fire Fighting System Along With Connected Items At Sec 42,Sec 37 And Sec 30 Chandigarh.; 1 Testing / Servicing/ Comprehensive maintenance and repair including renewal/ replacement of defective parts of all existing firefighting system installed at various location once in a month for 100% serviceability of the complete including checking of sprinklers, fire hydrant, existing valve, electric panel and all types of pump, checking the connection of batteries, specific gravity of electrolyte, wiring connection of control panel and indicating eqpt be checked by the operation of trigger device of the firefighting system and make it functional by replacing the defective / unserviceable parts complete all as specified and directed.NOTE:- (i)Cost of any size single core cable required for panel shall included in quoted rate and other components/parts shall be paid for separately under relevant item of Schedule A as supply only(ii)Contractors rep shall visit minimum once in a month to every firefighting system . directed. 31 Supply and fixing in replacement 2000 ltr capacity rotational molded polyethylene water storage Tanks double layer (cylindrical vertical and closed top) ISI marked placed on platform on roof all as specified in SSR Part - 1 complete including wash out pipe of 50mm dia GI medium grade pipe 50cm long complete all as specified and directed. 32 Supply and fixing in replacement hose box made of 18 gauge MS sheet with double door with 4 mm thick glasses and door frame made of 16 gauge MS sheet painted fire red out side and brilliant white inside yard complete all as specified and directed. 33 Material & labour for cleaning and washing underground sump reservoir of capacity upto 25000 gallon, disconnecting the inlet and outlet valves, cleaning the tank by blocking the water supply system including removing sludge/scale/sediments etc from bed level and scrapping the floor and wall surfaces with wire brush and cleaning with potassium permanganate (KMNO4) solution at least three times to remove oily surfaces from internal floor and wall of the tank and finally cleaning with fresh water and applying cement wash on walls including re-fixing of inlet and outlet valves and normalizing the water supply by opening valves after allowing sufficient drying time, including writing date of cleaning with synthetic enamel paint as cleaned on complete all as specified and directed.Note: Quoted rate shall deemed to be inclusive of cost of potassium permanganate, scaffolding (if required) and disposal of sludge/scale/sediments upto a distance of n.exc 50m from work site. 34 MMaterial and labour for conducting ‘B’ check ofdiesel engine capacities upto 90 BHP to carry out maintenance/servicing as given below complete all as specified and directed. (i) Change of diesel filter ,oil filter, Air filter, replacement of engine oil etc.(ii) Check and clean engine, battery, etc.(iii) Tightening of all nuts & bolts of diesel engine set and its accessories.(iv)Check for any diesel leakage from any point and rectify if observed.(v) Check and adjust fan belt tension, replace the fan belts if found damaged.(vi) Check leakage of smoke from exhaust system/silencer, repair if required.(vii)Check electrical connections of engine . The wiring shall be maintained properly and engine starting system from engine instrument panel is to be kept in order. (viii)Check and tighten the AVM pads nuts and bolts, change AVM pads if found damaged. AVM to be provided by contractor.(ix)Check exhaust pipe, flange and lagging Repair if found damaged.(x)Oiling, Greasing and checking for proper & smooth functioning. etcand refitting, testing on load complete.Note 1. :- Price forspare parts and fuel filter, oil filter ,water separator filter, head/filter gasket, Air filter,engine oil and coolant shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of schedule as supply only. 35 Supply only for new fuel filter elements with O ring for diesel engine capacities upto 90 BHP complete all as specified and directed. 36 Supply only for new lubricant oil filter elements with O ring for diesel engine capacities upto 90 BHP complete all as specified and directed. 37 Supply only for new air filter (both outer & inner) element with O ringfordiesel engine capacities upto 90 BHP complete all as specified and directed. 38 Supply only of engine oil 15W40 grade for diesel engine set complete all as specified and directed. 39 Supply only of coolant for diesel engine set complete all as specified and directed. 40 Supply onlyfor V-belt for diesel engine upto 90 BHP as per existing complete all as per specified and directed. 41 Material and labour for dismantling of exhaust pipe of silencer, cleaning of silencer to remove carbon deposit inside exhaust pipe and re- fixing including replacement of worn out rubber gasket packing and nut, bolts including replacement of asbestos rope 20 mm complete all as specified and directed. 42 Dismantling the fuel injection/PT pump segregating serviceable and semi/unserviceable parts, replace all unserviceable parts and cleaning serviceable parts, drying, lubricating, reassembling the FIP/PT pump with cleaned serviceable parts alongwith new parts as per requirement, calibration and testing on completion with computerized testing equipment complete all as specified and directed. 43 Material and labour for cleaning of diesel tank of DG set of any capacity including replacement of worn out pipe line and measuring scale and fixing in original position and make it leak proof with necessary clamps complete all as specified and directed. 44 Supply only of oil pressure gauge ISI mark complete all as specified and directed. 45 Supply only of oil temperature gauge ISI mark complete all as specified and directed. 46 Supply only of fuel gauge meter ISI mark operated on 12 V DC complete all as specified and directed. 47 Supply and replacement of compact type battery charger unitsuitable for charging01 bty ,12 V 180 AH complete all as specified and directed with copper leads -02 Nos & brass clamps complete all as specified and directed.. 48 Dismantling of self starter 12V DC by disconnecting battery connection , taking out to civil workshop for carrying out following repair work and re- fixing including testing complete:- (i) Rewinding of armature & field coil.(ii) Replacement of Carbon brush and solenoid switch (iii) Replacement of gear assembly, all as per specified and directed. 49 Material and labour for disconnecting of suction and delivery pipe and electric connections, from three phase centrifugal pump sets motor and dismantling the pump sets complete from the foundation, strip opening the unserviceable motor at site to locate the fault and transporting to the local work shop. Strip openingthe motor and cutting/removing burnt out winding and rewinding the motor with as per existing original wire gauge super enameled copper wire including high qualityF class insulating material with heat resistant sleeves, sealing compoundand varnishing and heating the stator upto varnish fully dry and testing the motor at work shop to thesatisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. Coupled the motor with pump and installed at site as per existing position. Testing thepump setafter completion of work complete all as specified and directed of capacity 10/20/50/75 HP.
