COMPREHENSIVE MAINTENANCE FOR B/R PORTION, MISCELLANEOUS SERVICES INCLUDING ALLIED WORKS AND SMART PERIODICAL CERTAIN HIGH RISED BUILDINGS OF OTHER THAN MARRIED AND MAINTENANCE COMMAND, 22 PROVOST & SECURITY, AKSTA / AKSC AREA AT VAYUSENA NAGAR, NAGPUR; 1 Material and labour for prepartion of old plastered/unplastered surface of walls incl cornices, pilasters etc & applying 1 coat of white wash on walls complete all as specified and as directed. 2 All as per item No 1 above but two coats of white wash on walls 3 All as per item No 1 above but one coat of white wash on ceiling 4 Material and labour preparation of old distempered sufaces of walls by washing, rubbing down and stopping of distempered surfaces incl repair of damaged portion by applying wall care putty to achieved smooth surface and applying one coat of oil bound distemper with roller on walls complete all as specified and as directed. 5 All as per item No 4 above but two coats of oil bound distemper with roller on walls 6 All as per item No 4 above but one coat of oil bound distemper with roller on ceiling 7 Material and labour for complete removal of existing treatment of wall surfaces and applying 1mm thick wall care putty and making the surface even & smooth by rubbing and applying one coat of alkali resistant primer and applying distempering two or more coats with 1st quality acrylic distemper (ready mixed) having VOC content less than 50 gms/litre, of approved manufacturer, of required shade and colour complete, as per manufacturers specification using airless spray technology with max working pressure of 3300 PSI and capable of operating single spray gun with a max material hose length of 30 mtr the spray machine should be of reputed manufacturer with pro guard technology and capability of tracking pressure and paint usage and certified by paint manufacturer and as mentioned in PS and accessories for applying distemper should be able to spray in hard to reach areas and penetration of distemper on the surface complete all as specified and directed at any height upto 15 mtr incuding necessary scaffolding. Note : Sanding of surface to be done by mechanical sander with 1500 - 2700 rpm, with internal dust extraction system for clean environment certified by paint manufacturer. 8 Material and labour for peparation of old painted wooden surfaes of any dscription over 10cm width or girth and applying one coatof synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed. 9 Material and labour for peparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description over 10cmwidth or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed. 10 Material and labour for prepartion of old plastered/unplastered surface of walls incl washing, rubbing down and stopping of painted surfaces etc & applying one coat of cement base paint complete including filling of hole, cracks etc with lime putty or plaster of paris all as specified and as directed.Note :- Shade and pattern of the colour to be approved by GE. 11 Material and labour for complete removal of existing treatment on wall surfaces by scrapping with mechanical sander (having mechanical vacuum mechanism) with sanding pad of appropriate grit to make surface clean, free from dust, loose paint etc & applying two coats of cement base paint complete including filling of hole, cracks with lime putty or plaster of paris all as specified and as directed.Note :- Shade and pattern of the colour to be approved by GE. 12 Material and labour forcomplete removal of existing treatment on wall/ roof projections including facia, cornices etc by scrapping with mechanical sander (having mechanical vaccum mechanism) with sanding pad of appropriate grit to make surface clean, free from dust, loose paint etc by skilled labour complete all as specified and directed at any height upto 15 mtr incuding necessary scaffolding. 13 Material and labour for applying two or more coats of 100% premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 Sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 Sqm after repair of damaged/cracked area by applying wall care putty to achieved smooth surface etc complete all as specified and directed at any height upto 15 mtr incuding necessary scaffolding over complete removal surfaces.Note :- (i) Primer and emulsion application to be carried out through air less spray machine (Only mechanical application allowed except in paint application on bands/chajja/building edges/borders/projections where contrasting color as specified and directed is to be applied). (ii) Sanding of surface to be done by mechanical sander with 1500 - 2700 rpm, with internal dust extraction system for clean environment certified by paint manufacturer. Proper masking to be carried out before primer and paintapplication).(NOTE 1 : Provn of all safety instruments/scafolding/material & sefty of men, insurance etcall are contractors responsibility 14 Material and labour for preparation of olddecorated surfaces in walls, soffits, facia roof etc and applying one coat of weather proof premium acrylic based emulsion paint (100% acrylic) as per manufacturers instructions etc complete all as specified and directed.Note :- Shade and pattern of the colour to be approved by GE. 15 Taking down cement or cement lime plaster, any description on brick or stone/PCC block masonry walls, etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and as directed. 16 Material and labour for rendering 15 mm thick in CM 1:6 over brick /stone wall/block wall/concrete surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement all as specified and as directed. 17 Material and labour for rendering 15 mm thick on fair face of brick work or concrete surfaces of wall in CM (1:4) finished even and smooth without using extra cement but using water proofing compound @3% by wt of cement complete all as specified and as directed.Note : - WPC shall be measured and paid separately 18 Supply only water proofing compound 19 Material and labour for rendering 5 mm thick in CM 1:3 on concete surfaces, finished even & smooth with out extra ement in ceiling complete all as specified and as directed. 20 Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls and applying 1mm thick wall care putty in two layers of opposite direction for making the surface even & smooth and applying two coats of oil bound distemper over a coat of alkali resistant primer of required shade and colour complete, as per manufacturers specification using airless spray technology with max working pressure of 3300 PSI and capable of operating single spray gun with a max material hose length of 30 mtr the spray machine should be of reputed manufacturer with pro guard technology and capability of tracking pressure and paint usage and certified by paint manufacturer and as mentioned in PS and accessories for applying distemper should be able to spray in hard to reach areas and penetration of distemper on the surface complete all as specified and directed at any height upto 15 mtr incuding necessary scaffolding. 21 Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surfaces of wall and applying 3 coats of white wash complete all as specified and as directed. 22 Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surfaces of ceiling and applying 3 coats of white wash complete all as specified and as directed. 23 Material and labour for preparing newly plastered surfaces of ceilings and applying two coats of distemper oil emultion over one coat of primerpaint roller complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 24 Material and labour for preparation of new plastered wall surfaces and applying two or more coats of 100% premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company DepotTinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/10 sqm complete all as specified and directed at any height upto 15 mtr incuding necessary scaffolding if required at site complete all as specified and directed.Note :- (i) Primer and emulsion application to be carried out through air less spray machine (Only mechanical application allowed except in paint application on bands/chajja/building edges/borders/projections where contrasting color as specified and directed is to be applied). Proper masking to be carried out before primer and paintapplication).Note :- Shade and pattern of the colour shall be approved by GE. 25 NOTES FOR ITEM NO. 7,11,12,13,20 and 24:-(a) The work pertaining to smart periodical services shall be executed by authorized applicator through manufacturer of which the materials .i.e. Paint, Distemper,Putty etc. is proposed to be used by the contractor and approved by GE.(b) Cost of scaffolding etc of building shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate.(c) The equipments to be used in the work shall be certified by the manufacturer with whom the MOU been entered into. 26 Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surfaces of wall and applying 2 coats of cement base paint complete all as specified and as directed at any height including necessary scaffolding if required at site. 27 Material and labour for preparation of surfaces of floor and applying one coat of floor guard of approved shed to paver tile, blocks, kerb stone etc. 28 Material and labour for cleaning the existing surfaces with wire brushes ,cut the cracks In V shape and fillingwith berger HS crackfill paste or equivalent in Sika/ Choksey and finishing the surface to match with existing finish all as specified. 29 Material and labour for silicon gel filling with gun to fill gaps between aluminium door frames/similar articles to arrest water coming inside from cills/jams and similar joints in other places complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- make of silicon shall be approved before use by GE/EIC. 30 Material and labour forof old painted surface of stone work of any description not specifically mentioned otherwise over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint all as specified and as directed. 31 Taking down chowkats or frame with shutter (without taking out shutter from the frame) not exceeding 1.50 sqm each and removal from site all as specified and directed. 32 Taking down chowkats or frame with shutter (without taking out shutter from the frame) exceeding 1.50 sqm but not exceeding 4.00 sqm each and removal from site all as specified and directed. 33 Material and labour for aluminium framed doors/windows/ventilators sections any pattern, fixed/side hung/silding (two or three track) using powder coated alluminium sections, of approved make with or with out sash bars suitable for glazing/gauzing including necessary jointed cleats, etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note-:glazing/gauzing shall be measured and paid separatly 34 Material and labour for powder coated anodised aluminium door shutters, aluminium section weighing 0.55 kg/m including necessary joining 30cm x 30cm x 25mm thick, set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors 55 Material and labour for vitrified ceramic tiles of dark shade 8-9 mm thick (square/ rectangular) polished, area of each tile not exceeding 0.36 Sqm as in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match with the tiles including 15 mm thick screed bed in cement mortar 1:6 all as specified and directed. 56 Material and labour for vitrified ceramic tiles of dark shade 8-9 mm thick (square/ rectangular) polished, area of each tile not exceeding 0.36 Sqm as in skirting/dado etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match with the tiles including 10 mm thick plaster in cement mortar 1:4 all as specified and directed. 57 Material and labour for 100 thick cement concrete type D2, 1:4:8 (40 mm graded aggr) as in sub base all as specified and directed. 58 Material and labour for factory made machine pressed rubble moulded precast conctete interlocking paver block any shape and sizewith grey cement and pigments confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 60 mm thickness, M-35 Grade over and including 40 mm thick stone dust cousioning all as specified and directed. 59 Dismantling of stone slab and tiles of any description or thickness in floors, aprons etc laid, bedded and pointed in any mortar all as specified and
