Tender For Repair To Mes Installation At Age (I) Air Force Amritsar; 1 M&L for preparation of surface by removal of any type of existing roof treatment (brick tiles, mud Phuska, PCC, tar felt etc) in any number of layer up to original RCC roof top slab surface, including demolition of PCC coping etc and cleaning the surface with wire brush,and other necessary tools , disposal of debris outside the defence land, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. then surface shall be primered with Smart care two component , high solid, epoxy resin based floor primer of asian paints or equivalent make, to seal the pores and enhance the ashesion of coating , supply and applying single component water proofing liquid membrane based on pure elastomeric polyurethane resin smartcare PU Magnum US , cold applied of spray / brush applied , membrane with an elongation of > 600% and tensile strength of 3-4 Mpa as per ASTM D412 , crack bridging ability of 3mm as per ASTM C1305 , no leakage upto 5 bars of water pressure as per DIN 1048 , shore A hardness > 50 shore as per ASTM D 2240 . The minimum thickness to be applied shall be 1.5 mm along with protectiveGeotextile fabric 150 GSM over the entire membrane with proper overlaps of 75mm before application of Brick tiles all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.Note :- (i)Ponding test shall be done after application of material and the cost is deemed to be inclusive. In case oif any leakage/failure the complete area of roof be treated again without any extra cost.(ii)The work of water proofing will be carriedout by authorized representative/applicator of the Manufacturer The necessary documents in this regard will be submitted & got approved from the Engineer-in-Charge before commencement of work. 2 Note:-(a) Application of water proofing treatment will be done by Authorised Applicator only as per MOU between tenderer and manufacturer of PU liquid water proofing membrane and their authorized appliactor complete all as specified and directed.(b) The contractor shall upload MOU between tenderer and manufacturer of PU liquid water proofing membrane and their authorized applicator at thje time of sample approval.Make : Asain Paints/ Berger paints/Sika/BASF/Pididlite/Dr. Fixit as per appendix attached .The Make shall be of same manufacturer of which the MOU signed and submitted by contractor. No change of make/ manufacturer other than MOU shall be allowed without the prior approval of Accepting officer.(c) Shifting/ removing of any wire/ cable/ AC unit or other any object as per site requirement and re-fixing the same if needed is deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the contractor.(d) Total removal of vegetation/creepers/small plants/ roots from the top of the bldgs to facilitate the work of treatment is also deemed to be included in the rate of contractor. 3 M&L for brushing neat cement slurry with 3.0 kg per sqm complete all as specified and directed. 4 M&L for Cement concrete type B-2 (1:2:4) using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in roof padding/floor subbase to maintane slope correction of the depresses/ undulation portion complete all as specified. 5 Material and Labour, 40mm thick brick tiles laid on and including 15 mm thick cement screed bed in CM (1:4) using grey cement laid on concrete roof/ geotextile membrane and joints of the tiles should be grouted and flush pointed using polymer based cementous tile grout, complete all specified and directed. 6 All a per Srl item No 4 abovebut except tiles (old serviceable dismantled tiles obtained from Srl item No 1.00 shall be reused after necessary cleaning of mortar) 7 M & L for providing cement concrete type B1 1:2:4 (20 mm graded aggregate) in roof, Kerb or mud stops, rounded chamfered on edges before treatment of roof surface all as specified and directed by EIC. 8 M&L for Dismantling of CI/PVC pipe of any dia fixed with cement joint. 9 S & F 150 mm PVC (SWR) pipe single socket in any length with rubber ring joints fixed in walls or floors all as specified and directed. 10 S&F PVC (SWR) bends with access door for 150 mmbore of pipe complete all as specified and as directed. 11 M&L for Demolition of cement concrete in any position and any description upto 9.5 m height including all necessary arrangements complete all as specified and directed. 12 M&L for Demolition of reinforced cement concrete in any position and any description including cutting of reinforcement bars to facilitate demolition complete all as specified and directed. 13 Disconnecting existing tank capcity 500 ltrssetting aside (or lowering if required ) for repair , cleaining, etc and hosting if requiredreconnecting and re-fixing in postion. (Cleaning and removing all scale and dirty etc from tanks and from mouths of circulating pipes etc. 14 M&L for removing existing poinintg &Flush pointing to bricks laid flat or brick tiles in pavings and including re-pointing with CM (1:3) with crude oil 5% wt of cement complete all as specified. 15 M&L for cutting or uprooting grass on old mud phuska/brick tiles,removing rubbish off from the premises,cleaning surface and preparation of surface all as specified and directed . 16 Taking down cement plaster of any descriptionon brick walls or concrete surfaces etc. /removing old lime wash if any including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water for a building of height upto 7.5 meter complete all as specified and directed . 17 Material and labour for 15 mm thick cement plaster in CM 1:4 on brick or concrete surface of walls,slabs & chajja finished even and fair for a building of height upto 7.5 meter all as specified and directed. 18 Material and labour for 5mm thick cement plastering on ceiling in CM 1:3 finishing the surface fair and even complete all as spd and directed by engineer in charge 19 Material and labour for 12mm thick cement plastering in cm 1:6 on brick or concrete surfaces other, finishing the surface fair and even complete all as specified and directed by engineer in charge 20 Material and labour for preparation of newly plastered surface and applying two coats of first quality Acrylic weather coat emulsion paint on walls/facias/roof top/ramp Surface etc in disruptive pattern having percentage of Six- colour as 29.04% of RGB Value (143, 152, 113), 22.48% of RGB Value (112,139,86), 14.98% of RGB value (123,137,126), 13.80% of RGB Value (84,97,75), 14.15% of RGB Value (123, 137, 94) and 5.55%of RGB Value (206,193,141) as per sample approved by AGE(I) for building of height upto 9.5meter, over and including a coat of alkali resistance primer complete all as specified and directed. Note:-The rate quoted by contractor is deemed to include preparation of surfaces of wall/roof and necessary scaffolding for painting upto required height. 25 Material and labour for complete removal of existing treatment including fascias,cornices,walls , celings etc by scrapping with sander paperto make the surface free from dust, loose paint and loose plaster to be completely removed by skilled labour and repair ofwalls/ceilings to be done with repair mortar to get even surface including preparation of old surface of wall/ceiling by filling cracks by crack fill paste of Asian Paints or equivalent make and make good smoothen surface by sand paper after application of wallcare putty of 1mm thickness and applying two or more coats of first quality Interior acrylic distemper of approved colour & approved make ,prepare the surface even and smooth upto height of 12.00 mtrs all as specified and directed by engineer in charge .Note :- Allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface in subsequent coats of primer and distemper and including necessary scaffolding at any height complete all specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 26 M&L for dismantling of asbestos cement ( corrugated ,semi corrugated etc. ) sheets in roof coverings etc all as specified and directed by EIC. 27 M&L for dismantling timber scantlings 40 sq. cm and over in unframed section in any position all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge . 28 S&F Pre-painted galvatume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of an colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/ cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws as specified. 29 Excavating in post holes( or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cu.m. getting out and removing surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50 m complete all as specified and directed by EIC. 30 M & L for PCC (1:3:6) typeC-2with using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation, filling and mass concrete all as specified and directed 31 S&F Steel work in tubular trusses including special shaped washer etc. complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to I.S 1161-1979 grade St. 240all as specified and directed by EIC. 32 M&L MS plate(plain or chequred)channels,square cut or notched (ordinary and counter sunk)forming holes, without any attachmentalso fastening and fixing completeall as specified and directed by EIC. 33 S&F mild steel bolts purpose made with hexagonal or square head one end and screwed the other , or screwed both ends; each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal nut exc. 30 cm long , having dia not exc 12mm all as specified and directed by EIC . 34 M&L for two coat synthetic enamel paint over a coat red oxide primer on new steel surface of any description over 10 cm width or girth not otherwise described including prepration of surface complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 35 S&F 500 Ltr capacity, Rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks (cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position incl dismantling old tank all as specified inSSR Part I. 36 S&F 1000 Ltr capacity, Rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks (cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position incl dismantling old tankall as specified inSSR Part I. 37 S&F20 mm bore Ball brass valves , high pressure , with polythene float valve and flynut complete , screwed for iron pipe or brass ferrule and fixed complete all as specified and as directed. 38 Demolition of brick work builtin cement mortar incl all quoins, arches, pillars etc complete all as specified and directed . 39 M&L, Brick work with sub class B bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius built in CM 1:4complete all as specified and as directed. 40 Note: The Total amount shall subject to adjustment of credit for old Materials as per Schedule of Credit.
