Tender For Provision Of Bollards At Test Location Of Idukki Dam Reservoir Banks; 1 Surface dressing of the ground including removing vegetation and inequalities not exceeding 15 cm deep and disposal of rubbish, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m. 2 Carryout topographical survey of the area with DCPS, total station for capturing all existing/ Ground topographical features of the area like existing trees, building, boundary wall etc., including preparation of topographical map on a suitable scale taking all physical features with contours at each bollard Location. 3 Mobilization of tools and equipments of tools and equipments for laboratory to site and back for conducting soil investigation work at site, making 100mm dia or N X size dia bore in any soil Stata/Hard Rock Collecting/ Conducting STP/UDS/DS (which Ever Applicable) and Submission of Soil Investigation Report in Triclicate giving site plan showing test points, sub soil prolife, results field investigation, laboratory test results, calculation of safe bearing capacity & recommendations. 4 (1) In all Types of soils including Sieve analysis, atterbergs limits, FMC,Bulk Density, Specific Gravity, Shear Test for cohesion and Angle of Shearing Resistance and DFS Test (4x5=20RMT)-4Bore Holes. 5 (2) Prepartion of Rock Samples and conduting Bulk Density, water Absorption and Compression Strength Total In rock 12RMT-4Bore Holes 6 Consultancy services for designing and detailed engineering including preparation of detailed architectural, structural and services drawings of 50 T Bollard at 8 Nos location, depending on the local soil investigation report. (This is to be carried out by expert design consultancy/ firm who are having experience of delivered). 7 Excavation work by manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5m in width or 10 sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and remaining of bottom, lift upto 1.5m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soils as directed, within a lead of 50m. 8 Excavation work by manual means in surface trenches or drains (not exceeding 30cm in depth or 10 sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and remaining of bottom, lift upto 1.5m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soils as directed, within a lead of 50m. 9 Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level 1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand (zone-III) : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) 10 Disposal of moorum/building rubbish/malba/ similar/un serviceable, dismantled or wast material by mechanical transport including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground for lead upto 10km for all lifts, complete as per directions of Engineer-In-Charge. 11 Anchoring and Supplying of CI Bollard : Supplying of CI Bollards with MOC as per IS:210 FG-260 Grade Bollard of 50T pull capacity conforming to standard specifications and drawing with all fixture such as Hot dip galvanized M42 foundation bolts /studs of 800mm length, nuts and washers (7 sets), painting the exposed surface with two coats of anti corrosive epoxy paint over a coat of epoxy primer, etc., complete with NABL Lab T C for Tensile Strength and Hardness Test.Drilling 32mm Dia Hole at depth up to 3.00 mtrs upto in rock strata in reservoir and bank by using portable drilling equipment including grouting. Each Bollard should have 21 Nos. of Anchoring. Providing and fixing of self drilling anchors of 32mm diameter, 3.00 M Strata length having rupture strength (Both in tension & compression) of 214 kN/m Grade of steel Fe500 Rupture stress not less than 435 Mpa, with attached drill bit, washer plate 150 x 150 x 8 millimeter including coupler for connecting bars, inserting quick fixing cement resin and full length grouting for intermediate (cortical) anchoring along with “S” clamps & Steel bar of 18mm dia.As required for fixation of Geogrid with anchor bars including all ancillary works and including all material, machinery, labour etc., complete and as per the directed by of Engineer In-Charge. 12 Grouting under water: supply and pouring the anti washout shrinkage Compensating Underwater Grout whose Compressive Strength 1 Day > 14MPa 7 Days> 44 MPa. 28 Days >54MPa for water power ratio of 0.22.The grout mix can be placed from 25mm to 150mmin single pour and under water 75mm thick only.After drilling using high speed water jet inside the hole to clean the dust inside the hole Make a funnel which will inserted inside the hole and the depth of the concrete/Rock.Mix the grout ensure the flow test as per marsh cone and pour the grout inside the funnel which was placed inside hole slowly move out the funnel as the grout is moving inside the hole.When the grout is in-flowable in nature insert the reinforcement in side the hole. 13 Grouting above ground water: supply and poring the shrinkage compensating Micro concreteCompressive Strength 28 Days >60MPa for water power ratio of 0.16.The Micro concrete mix can be placed from 25mm to 150mm. Higher thickness to be buildup by adding the 6 mm down grade chips.After drilling, using high speed water jet inside the hole to clean the dust inside the hole Make a funnel which will inserted inside the hole and the depth of the concrete/Rock Mix the grout ensure the flow test as per marsh cone and pour the grout inside the funnel which was placed inside hole.Slowly move out the funnel as the grout is moving inside the hole.When the grout is in flowable in nature insert the reinforcement in side the hole. Details of all items including rates are as under: 14 a) Supplying Diamond drilling equipment with50mm dia drill for core cutting work completer all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. 15 b) Material and Labourfor Drilling hole in rock of dia 40mm wih diamond cutter upto 3.0 M depth,completer all as specified and directed by Engineer- in-charge. 16 c) Supply and applying of E77, High Performance pure epoxy 3:1 resin cartridge system for anchoring reinforcement and fixing into a variety of substrates,completer all as specified and directed by Engineer- in-charge. 17 Supply and fixing of 50 Ton Tee Bollard-IS210 Cast Iron Tee Bollard., Mounting Hardware in E8.8 HDG along with supply and fixing Cast Steel/ Cast Iron Fair lead for Bollard including supply and using of Chemical Gun for Grouting work of reinforcement etc., Mobilization of Heavy Machine and Accessories in rocky area Shifting of Machine from ground to Rocky area /Working area and supplying and providing of Core Boxed for storing core Sample complete all as specified and directed by Engineer- in-charge. 18 Providing and laying in position ready mixed or site batched design mix cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work; using coarse aggregate and manufactured sand (i.e. Robo sand) as fine aggregate, Ordinary Portland cement, admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate / retard setting of concrete, to improve durability and work ability without impairing strength; including pumping of concrete to site of laying, curing, carriage for all leads; but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement as per direction of the engineer-in-charge; for the following grades of concrete Note: Extra cement up to 10% of the minimum specified cement content in design mix shall be payable separately. In case the cement content in design mix is more than 1.10 times of the specified minimum cement content, the contractor shall have discretion to either re-design the mix or bear the cost of extra cement. Thermos-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more upto plinth level. 22 Structural steel work in single section, fixed with or without connecting plate,including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete. 23 15 mm cement plaster on the rough side of single or half brick wall of mix : 1:4 (1 cement: 4 fine sand) 24 Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade :a) Two or more coats on new work over an under coat of suitable shade with ordinary paint of approved brand and manufacture 25 Supply and Fixing of 25mm dia reinforcement bar by drilling holes of 38mm dia and 1500mm length anchoring with LOKFIT E77 of M/s Fosroc or Equivalent and conducting Pull out Test. 26 Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required. 27 In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works. 28 TERMS & CONDITIONSi) The area including Site of work is Security Restricted and the tenderer isrequired to obtain all necessary clearance from the State Govt, Forest Department and Reservoir Dam Site Authority well in advance with Assistance from NPOL and CCE(R&D)S.ii)No blasting is permitted, core cutting using diamond drilling equipment with diameter 50mm shall be done.The tenderer should cater for specialized equipment for the same. iii) This tender document contains all works commencing from design of Bollards including sub structures, preparation of detailed architectural, structural and services drawings.Including soil investigation, survey of area, site inspection, proof check by third party from reputed govt institutes like IITs, NITs, or any Govt Institutes including complete execution and testing.iv) The bidders should be conversant with the natural terrained practices of the land and should be able to go in sync with the local populace and not create any hindrance to their livelihood.
